I'll probably create a few - nothing as in depth as I did last year.

I'm thinking I'll do like a VERTICAL offense and a RUN HEAVY offense..then maybe a balanced one.

So, just to take the newbie question one step further, this sounds awesome and is my first exposure to custom playbooks....

My profile - I can just download whatever team I plan on controlling

2nd profile - download the other 31 teams or whatever playbooks I want to that profile. Then when I play games that profile needs to create a player for my opponent, assign as a player that wont play in the game(no instant starter), assign the playbook during the game start screen, and as long as the 2nd controller is on, then it will be fine.

Do I have that correct essentially....??

I only have wireless controllers...does that mean that I either need to just keep the controller 'active' or it will timeout and shut off, which will just pause the game then?

Last year I discovered custom sliders, this year playbooks...what rock was I living under, lol.

That's why this is for offline cfm and playbooks are assigned to the CPU.

Yes, the 1 thing I had an issue with was if my 2nd controller turned off after time it paused game and even when I turned it back in I couldn't do anything. Hence why I say I'm pretty sure you need to have it plugged in (or active) for the whole game. This if only for cfm. Play now your fine though.

I've done this since Madden 15, mostly removing all those 4 verts plays (why it's like is the beyond me), re-rating certain plays for certain star players (Gronk, Dez, Julio, etc) and it makes a WORLD of difference when playing the computer.. I haven't done it near the extent that vannwolfhawk is getting this ish done! More so generic type playbooks that I assign teams based on how they play.. Once I pick up my copy, I'll be sure to check out your playbooks man this is gonna be awesome, especially since it seems like you have enough playbook knowledge of every team to get them to play like their counterparts. Props!

Just picked up M17 Prima Guide and the "Best Offensive and Defensive" plays have changed from M16!
I'm updating Falcons and My Skins now!
Play calling has changed from M16 prima to M17, so they are updating with new info!

3rd dwn
Short, med, and long have all been changed.

This makes having the 17 Prima worth the $10.00 w/ GameStop discount.

I'm starting off just changing My team and the team I'm facing that week, instead of doing a bunch at once.
I wanna test this thing week to week and really put together a ligit gameplan for the week, for MY team and the CPU!
Week to week gameplanning WILL BE a Game changer! In M17!

This really makes a huge difference in the CPU gameplay... Played against the Vikes and they were run heavy.. even saw them actually run a QB read option for Teddy on 3rd & short..

See guys, this is HUGE!
We really do need to give the CPU Defensive Play Call logic a look as well!

Vikings, Falcons, Saints, and cardinals are done and added to the OP. I also put all the playbooks on madden share (xbox1) with most 4 verts and playactions removed on 3rd and 4th down already for a good base for you guys to start your own custom books. I put pre book under description for those.

Just think, if we wanted to, we could adust the CPUs gameplanning week to week, and really see some variety in the CPU!

Fyi,
I used the 2nd controller, changed the Offense and defense before starting the game, and moved it back to the middle and the PBs still stuck for the Game vs CPU!
I don't know the difference between leaving the controller on the team your facing vs moving it back to the middle.

Just good to know they stick even if you move controller back to the middle.

I believe you could just be a owner and switch the scheme / playbook without the workaround. I have no idea what those playbooks look like.

Lol! I'm out on that 1! Haha the way I'm editing is I'm doing the whole Seahawks opponents playbooks 1st, then I'll do the best teams in each conference I could meet in the playoffs or super bowl. Teams with bad qb's or rookie qb's will get basic routes and plays and not as much love with different plays added. I'm hoping someone else does a few divisions as this is way time consuming. Then when all done and the season starts I'll re-go thru each team and minimize plays in a situation. If you look at the playbooks I have up now there are over 100 plays in some situations which will give you a huge variety of plays being called but now that I got each teams plays narrowed down per situation I can watch games and adjust here and there...

All the info needed is within this thread without repeating myself. I know swagger coach said he will be doing a few different schemed playbooks again for ps4. He was getting the game today...
