Sorry, should have clarified it's with all sliders on 50.
Since the quarantine there has been a popular trend of sportsbooks running bets on Madden 20 sims. The games they play are simmed All Madden, 15 min Qs, 10 play clock with accelerated clock, with all sliders set on their 50 default. Then simmed on slow mode where the entire broadcast is shown.

What I have been doing is running 50 Super Sims under the same conditions, but on the "fast" speed instead of the broadcast. I am wondering how much this difference affects the results, stats, etc

This is the same way I play my games with my slider settings posted in the slider Forum. Setting all on 50 won't give you realistic stats with 15 minute Quarters. I'm also on 10 seconds.

Fast simming watching, I don't believe it takes the sliders into effect, you have to slow sim but I'm not 100% on that.

Madden Xbox and PC 25 (CPU vs CPU), Footbal Mogul 25 (CPU vs CPU), Front Office Football 9 (CPU vs CPU), NBA 2K23 (CPU vs CPU), and several Military and 4X PC simulations.

I’ve watched some of these games on youtube. Man they look bad. Way better options in the slider thread. The betting thing, i don’t gamble at all. Not really for it against it, but when I’m doing these cpu/cpu sliders, that’s my main criteria. If a few guys were sitting around wanting to put chump change on a game to kill time. That’s really the only standard you can go by when developing them. Would people feel comfortable and trust the game enough to put five bucks on the Falcons/Vikings game.

I have no issues with the gambling with real or fake money, could be fun, if the games are playing realistically. Good sliders without manipulating EA ratings, Playbooks or Schemes for consistency for all teams. What’s needed are some sort of odds or the lines for betting purposes, some text based games have odds incorporated to determine favorites. The Commissioner would need to publish injuries, team and player stats.

Or just having team Owners having certain control over the management of their perspective teams.

I could see myself doing something like this with my sliders.

Special teams sliders do not work in spectate mode, so saying sliders work when in broadcast slow super sim is misleading to say the least.

So can you switch sides in Connected Franchise yet?

I sometimes like playing 32 team control and just using both offenses in a game. Never been a fan of defense and I don't have a 2nd controller.

It won’t let you switch. I wish they would open up the controller select. Or give an option.

I was considering buying this year for the first time since 15 but not now. I don't understand why it isn't an option, especially with 32 team control. Obviously not allowed to play how you want

Sadly I come with very bad news...

                          Yesterday (9-11-20) I purchased Madden 21.

I created an offline franchise with active rosters.

After using the “backdoor” or “workaround” to watch CPU vs CPU in franchise mode I have uncovered a horrible glitch.

If you select the usual “supersim” on “slow” to watch cpu vs cpu...you are able to watch the entire game. However...After the game is over and you exit to the menu, the game crashes every time. Losing all data.

This has been tested 5-6 different times...with me even punching in to play a couple downs to see if anything changed.

                          It hasn’t.

                          Even the workarounds are broke.

Before you start the game, disconnect your machine from the internet. This has worked for at least 15 people.

If only cpu vs cpu actually played like a NFL game instead of a arcade game. Another year, another wasted hours of trying to get the game to play like a NFL sSim.

Cpu has 18 passes to receivers, all while the hum cpu team can only pass short to rb and te's. Cpu moves in pocket and throws ball away, hum cpu drops back 15 yards. Cpu dbs like glue, hum cpu no where close. All with the same settings. Default, slider sets, nowhere close to sim football

That's all with no interaction with the coordinators. You really want to see arcade unrealistic game, talk to the coordinator. After you do though, you will have the complete opposite effect. So if it tells you to throw for 400+ and 0 interceptions. Your qb (no matter who it is) won't hit for 200 in 40 plus attempts and 3 ints

Real NFL players wish they were as good as Madden makes them

Edit your gameplan to get the CPU to call the plays you want. I let my team play for a year with the stock playbook, then in year two I really went in depth and set it up exactly like I want. Now my team plays with the exact style I want and uses as much of the playbook as I want. It really makes the game fun when you're putting together your playbook, imagine the play is going to be used for a player on your roster you've been developing who has strengths that will be utilized with that play. It makes things immersive. Yeah, its mildly tedious, but its so much fun to watch your team in action after you've done the work.
