I just don't see it CC on simming the next play, that's all I can tell you.

We are all waiting for the title update to come out and you might as well wait for it like the rest of us.

Do we have a date for the update?

No dates and EA doesn't publish dates, either.

Around the time the title update is near or in the certification process, we may start hearing the word soon.

I'm with CC on this issue, my biggest one. The punting has been broke since the update. Definitely in franchise mode and does not matter if you're in a dome, summing etc etc. One side always shanks. Now the other modes I couldn't tell you, sounds like punting works, because people don't seem to complain.
I'm patiently waiting for the next update though, but it's ridiculous on how long It's taking, season is almost over.

I agree it's there, just not in domes or simming the next play for me. This is the reason why I sim most of the time, unless I am in a dome, for punts, KO's and XP's.

We can't do much on this end with their timing process, but wait.

Feel the frustration.. I told myself after M16 I was done with madden for a good while... But i bought 17, of course. Needless to say with how nasty of a taste this game has left in my mouth, I will NOT buy next years game. I'm in an online CFM with 12 guys and they all feel the same. EA and the madden team need a wake up call by a major dent in their check books...

For every time I've heard that line over the past decade at OS and saved a nickel, I'd be able to retire by now.

It's a great personal stand to take, but EA will still keep on churning out the games, especially with MUT, DC and esports taking off.

I spent $60 on a video game in August and am still playing it daily the week of Thanksgiving. This isn't the investment of a lifetime, so I'm good.

That said, fix the punting issue and I'm pretty happy overall. That's the one issue I see the normal grousing about on here and agree with 100%.

                  Bizarrely boneheaded punt issue.

Quick question. I feel like I've seen this mentioned a few times but want to know for sure.

In franchise mode, can a player's development improve automatically at the end of a season? Like, if I have a rookie FS that is a normal DEV, could it jump to Quick if he has an awesome season?

Overall, I am liking the game.

                    Thanks

I felt it played a bit better at launch.

However, it's still getting a lot of playtime from me when I'm not riding around in Forza Horizon 3. No complaints here. It's made big progress, it's in good hands with this team IMO. So that's a big positive.

I am an offline franchise player only, my biggest complaint is the signing and release of the same player in the same week by the cpu teams. There has even been a player signed in week 2, released in week 2, then resigned by the same team week 3 only to be released again week 4.

It's becoming laughable and is really hurting the overall realism of the game for me.

16 is definitely a "cleaner" playing game than 17. In 16 I didn't have players walking through player's bodies, limbs fusing together, players rolling through lineman's legs when they're engaged in blocks, TE's walking right through the QB when breaking the huddle, etc...All of this stuff happens in 17 which are HUGE immersion killers. I can't even enjoy the game because of this. Some people can overlook this but I can't. They had most of if not all of this cleaned up in 16 so I'm baffled as to why it's not cleaned up in 17. It's almost as if the ball physics EA added for 17 has taken away from the player physics. Ocassionally the physics will play out as it should, however their engine is very inconsistent & needs to be a major priority going forward along with player movement.

The running game needs to be addressed. I have some ideas that I don't want to post here, but the way I see it, the game is a over response to complaints. Because people were running wild early they just completely nerfed running and made it very difficult to run. But it shouldn't be this way if you plan your run game schematically. But alas I just tried what I know should get my players in better position but still can't run. I'm in CFM pvp, not vs cpu.

Madden 17 is basically a carbon copy of M16. The franchise mode was literally untouched and was as shallow as ever. Only differences were they vastly improved the previously broken draft system and they messed up the kicking system. That's it folks. My copy has collected dust while I play games that I actually care about. It's not a bad game by any stretch but it's a joke they keep pumping out the same game for $60. This franchise is the definition of stale. Bring back NCAA.
