I'm not saying the game isn't flawed. QB accuracy and pass rush are problems. But most of the problems off line people experience VANISH when playing against human opponents interested in simulstion football.Originally posted by Therebelyell626I am going to create a team called "the happy town fundament rapscallions" and hurt your already diminishing image

I've retired '17 until we get another patch or I can find the disc version for less than $20. The QB accuracy issue is a deal breaker for me.
I really enjoyed the game, despite its warts, until the October patch and would still be playing several games a week if we could restore that gameplay. I've gone back to 2K17 and NCAA '14 for now."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Im loving it. Again. After deleting the game and doing the reinstall. Disconnecting from the Internet..... this my favorite Madden of all time. By far. Gameplay wise. I understand my opinion of this game is like comparing apples to oranges. I'm playing the game basically out of the box. The same game most people liked very much at launch. No need to get into specifics, as I think most people remember. I think. Or just scroll through early impressions in August or so. Then The Tuner hit. The game was longer what it was. Which is the game, everyone is playing now. I realize my opinion of loving this game and the can't wait to play, take on it.... is not the same as most of you guys. Because we're not playing same game for all intents and purposes.

It's basically been the same madden for years with slight tweaks. I hate that pass rush and qb sack fumbles have been nerfed since launch. If I can get a my arms around a qb now he's able to magically throw it away 9/10 times just like last year.Comment

I'm loving it, I just finished off my first 30 year franchise, now I'm moving on to play as the eagles, but I'm going to keep my XP gain a little low to try and keep the game balanced once you get into the later years, I was playing with a 98 overall team by the time I hit year 6 and the lowest I went was 89. I only play 4 games a season and sim the playoffs so I really shouldn't have back to back undefeated seasons. Otherwise I think this game is a blast. First game in new franchise the score was 14-6 going into the 4th quarter which was a fun change of pace.Comment

I think the animation engine since they moved to the Ignite physics have been absolutely horrible. In fact, Madden animations have never been realistic since Madden 10. I really think they need to make a drastic change in the player models and animations to bring more lifelike realism to the game....players just dont move and feel like they appear on tv.
To add, this years sound fx for tackling are anemic at best.....the lack of pads and contact during tackles actually completely kills it for me
And finally, I just dont feel like the different teams do different things....Every game pretty much feels like a carbon copy of the other and play results and outcomes seem to follow a preprogrammed scripted feel to it that actually warps animations to achieve certain results.
Spacing on field continues to be a problem where deep balls all become the same clusterfuk secondary, wr jump ball dice roll game as well
The Franchise Mode has no inspiration to it and the interface is awful
Standings and Matchups are too many clicks away to see stuff....
There is no hyperlinking drill down data options to see stats, info, and more facts from these standings and schedule screens....its just not intelligently designed!
This game needs a shot of creative reboot!!Comment

If they really care about us who want a simulation game, why they always patch Madden to make Robot QB, less drops, etc etc ? When I'm seeing so much differences between now and day one, it's hard to believe they care about sim gamers.
EA is only concerned about money and money mean "to please MUT players".
Maybe Clint is honest but he can't do anything alone.Comment
