Good lord. That entire play makes me cringe, not just the qb throw. The de engaged with the left tackle keeps driving towards the pocket even tho the qb is behind him halfway to the side line. Even later than that the defender across from the right guard wins his battle and still goes to the empty pocket first and then turns towards the qb.

The wr on the right side of the field ran a curl route and then has a conversation with the db. Doesn't move, doesn't try to get open in any way at all.

Half the players on the field seemed to have no awareness at all.

I hadn't really got to play until last night. I played against the Steelers with Browns 4-3 D mostly and don't blitz a ton. On back to back plays near the goal line Ben had scooted up in the pocket and just stood there. He was 5 yards from a TD and no one in sight. That was very disappointing. The next game Flacco had several times where he just showed no awareness at all. Like would be able to see the sack coming and just stood there.

For me on default All Pro sim sliders QB usually has 90% completion. On those few missed plays usually the AI does something stupid on one and the others are a throw away. Very disappointed to not see this fixed from last year

Just curious but has anyone tried to mess with the bcv and elusiveness of the QB? I wonder if that is too low and that is why the QB throws right at the line across the field. I have no idea just asking

Agreed. Hate seeing everyone defend the game by saying "just have to mess with the sliders" WHY should we have to do that to get basic things to work correctly?

First, no one was defending the game just now. I've been watching Mills play CFM with Josh's settings for hours for the past 3 days and we haven't seen these issues. QB awareness has been pretty good abeit not perfect obviously.

Second, I'm well aware that these issues still exist as I was the one who posted THIS thread yesterday:

My post wasn't directed at you. I've seen some people making general claims of "oh it can all be ironed out with sliders" when I think some of these cannot.

Also, your last sentence is one of the reasons I'm holding off buying. I know they have a patch in store, but I'm curious as to what it messes up in the process...

Until they/if they bring back the T&R trait, I think it's a lost cause.
Playing Madden 25 watching how the DPP & T&R work so much better for the CPU.
I know you guys are tired of hearing about 25, but,
If my Internet was better, I'd share some videos of how the CPU ai (specifically dual threat qbs) take off and elude the pass rush.
I'm only avg 2-3 sacks per game as well. All-Pro w/ Int slider 25 on both.
See the DPP changes throughout the game on 25.
Also, I turned acc. Clock off and 9mins qtrs.
I see more rotation w/ acc clock off. The fatigue doesn't have enough time to recover.

I'm not using Josh's settings. I'm in sim all pro default. BUT - I'm on PS4 with a full version of the game and a Day 0 patch.

Anything from the EA Access version should b deemed skeptical at this point. No offense to that version but until we can confirm it has a patch then we don't know.

In the short time the game has been available, somebody has done EA's job for them and used sliders to fix the game? How and why can't they do that themselves?

It doesn't fix some core issues. It can help them, but some believe it can fix everything. I wouldn't think it can help with AI intelligence but I could be wrong.
