Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
I really enjoy the draft classes the way they are currently.

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
That actually kinda pisses me off. I think the highest OVR ANY rookie should be, EVER, is an 84, maybe 85. 87 right away is just absurd.PSN / Xbox GT - BLUEnYELLOW28Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Lol these rookies are craaazy...
Just imagine if this guy has a good statistical year with progression, wins Offensive Rookie of the Year....
I could see this guy easily becoming a 92~95 rated QB after just a year of play.

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
I don't see why people are all irked by the QBs posted in this thread. Obviously not every draft class has a guy like this. These are the FREAKS and STUDS that people are going out of their way to post.
Besides...Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Russel Wilson are a few QBs in recent draft history that are comparable to these guys. They came into the league and were rated in the high 80s sometime in their rookie season. Second season, rated in the high 80s and low 90s. It happens sometimes.
Now, if every draft class has 2-3 QBs rated like this, that's something to complain about, but lets be real. If all of the QBs that came into the league were rated like Blake Bortles, Patrick Mahomes, etc. people would be complaining that there are just a bunch of mediocre guys coming in that may end up being serviceable starters.*AKA NFC3PO on the Madden Modding Discord*Comment

Makes the drafts more diverse when you have these crazy phenoms appearing every now and then.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Well I'd suggest getting over it cause it's really not a game breaker or big deal. Not every rookie is like that.

This. I've ran a good amount of drafts and I've never seen anyone close to that. It's absolutely possible to have a rookie come into the league that good. Its just not going to happen often. Which these draft classes seem to replicate quite well from what I've seen. People seen to forget that this thread is for the rare, freak stand out players..Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
Important to remember, people are sharing the BEST players they've found. We've seen a handful of stud QB's out of thousands of CFM seasons in total.
You may never see a QB with an OVR above 83 in your own CFM.
Don't "raise the alarm" like last year and demand the draft classes get nerfed. We ended up with horrible classes that left CPU teams bereft of talent.
The draft classes this year a re much more balanced than last year, let's leave it be and be happy.Don't look back too long and don't look too far ahead.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
I forgot to take a screen shot of this guy but here is the draft recap. It's the FB I got in Rd 5. 85 Ovr and rated the #1 player in the draft (Ovr wise at least). I knew he would be good and he fit my scheme perfectly (Blocking FB) but had no idea he'd be that good. He has 88 IPB, 79 RBK, and 89 STR. He isn't fast or anything but it's like having another OL out there.
