Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
No pic. Forgot to take one, but during my test run grabbed a 1st round TE in 2018 that was an absolute specimen. 6'7 270+. Can run, jump, make people miss, and is strong as s***. Dude can just play football. Instead of Heeeeeaaaaaatttttthhhhh being the chant in the stadium when a white TE catches the ball it will be KennnnnnnnttttttttComment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
This is Madden. Playing CFM for years and seeing they do not put much into the rookie prospects. They all follow a certain mold and I am sure if you see a player like this once you will see it again in future drafts. Again, I'll keep my eyes open this might be a one off but I really doubt it.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
No problem with a few freaks. A strong safety with 97 speed is fine for me as long as it's not every year - better every 10-15 years at a maximum. If there is a super fast SS in every draft, we have a problem.
Someone already said it - one problem of last year's Madden was that there were only standard players. Nearly every top player looked the same with just +/- 1 point in the key attributes, no real standouts. I hope this is different this year.Comment

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
While I agree to an extent I hope they don't tone it down too much. The problem with Madden 17 was people posting pictures of these "freaks" and saying the draft classes were overpowered. When they patched it the draft classes became very weak. Now as a user it wasn't a big deal because I could still draft very well, but the CPU teams became terrible because the draft pool was so depleted, in part because the communities complained about the overpowered draft classes. Again in a perfect world I would love it to be toned down, but I really hope if they do it, they don't do it at the expense of CPU teams in franchise. It made my franchise unplayable after only a few years.

Re: M'18 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks
You saw one and he saw one. He also said "one of his CFM's". How many did he do? Was there just one in all of them? We still don't have enough data to determine if both of you saw a rare prospect or something that is going to happen regularly. I have yet to see one in any of my CFM Sims, most safties have been in the low-mid 90's in mine.Comment
