Not sure but on the ks8000 it is called Digital Clean View.

Yea mine has clear action as well but I do know if u have the game low latency on it will flicker some but not real noticeable.

I think the flickering grass is an EA thing because I don't have the same issue in MLB the Show.

Something else to enhance your game in addition to your tv and console settings is Madden's in-game Accessibility Settings. It has options to change the brightness and contrast. I have a One S and it enhanced the picture beautifully.

All I know is I sure hope they improve the HDR lighting on the Xbox X when they release the enhanced upgrade files because it is sorely lacking on the S currently.

That's not it's intention as stated numerous times earlier you're compromising HDR if you're adjusting these values in game.

I was reading an article on CNET and the writer said,

"This presumes that the manufacturer will have engineers that know enough about HDR and TVs to get the HDR looking correct on their TVs. This is a big presumption."

Anyway, it left me open to the idea that they did a bad job on HDR I'm this game. Again, I have other HDR content.. Including another game NBA 2K18, and they look great.

Purpose of this post is to say that I'm not buying the "that's how hdr looks" argument.

Amen. I play all my other games on HDR Game and they look fantastic

anybody find a good overall setting for madden 18 on a ks8000 because HDR just kill madden colors to dark

I can run any content under HDR on my x900e by just changing my HDR setting from automatic to HDR10. There is no benefit, though. There is just ****ty looking content being forced through the HDR mode on the TV.

If the source is not HDR, forcing HDR on just makes it look bad. HDR is not a magic mode that makes things look better.

If a program isn't actually encoded for HDR then there is no point in watching it even if you can get your TV to run in the "HDR mode".
