Example: suppose I'm the Titans and I'm playing against the Texans. Let's say I've lost my last eight games against the Texans over the course of several seasons. I want the game to remember that. I want the commentators to talk about it. I want the game to reward me for ending the losing streak.

A second example: the game presumably already tracks my play calls in some capacity given the community-sourced play call option exists. I want the commentary to talk about the kind of defense I typically run; do I blitz a lot on second and short? Did I break tendency with a zero blitz on 3rd and medium? What sort of route combinations do I favor and how successful am I using them? In franchise, maybe the game could also reward drive goal XP for successfully executing my favorite plays in pivotal moments. This could even further extend to a teaching tool, what with a better-executed version of the old Cris Collinsworth telestrator feature which was in Madden 09 as part of the panned "Rewind" feature.
So freaking much this. I want to hear about how my guy is the reigning MVP, or how my defense has put up numbers this season that put them with the 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, 2002 Bucs, etc.

If Jimmy Freaking Garoppolo wins the MVP in 2020 and 2022, I want to hear "two time MVP Jimmy Garoppolo" in a 2024 game, for example.

      to add to this...

Updated Championship Banners in the stadium

      Ring Ceremonies the next year

And even showing replays/ stats from previous match-ups. If Garoppolo wins the Super Bowl in 2021 against the Raiders and they play the Raiders next season, they should talk about that rematch. (Similarly to the Falcons vs Patriots this season)

        This!

This has the potential to make coaching matter.

Great coaches like Belichick and Carroll would know your tendencies better than someone like Hugh Jackson.

The CPU lead by a good coach, or a division rival would be more prone to know what plays you may run in a certain situation.

Similarly, in a USER vs USER game, depending on the caliber of coach or how much scouting you have done, the game would recommend better or worse play choices against the team you are playing.
