Re: Lighting Patch?
I'd also like to add I think a main issue with lighting seems to be the progressive lighting is not working fast enough. Just played a 7:30 PM preseason game with 12 minute quarters and did not get something close to resembling night lighting until the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter. I don't know who we need to raise this issue to but it's a big problem. Football is a fall sport. It gets dark fairly early.

POST OF THE YEARIt's just a matter of preference more than anything, I think. These are the pictures I sent T4Verts earlier
Here's Madden 19:

And Madden 18:

...both taken directly from the console. Madden 19 doesn't look bad but I prefer 18 in that scenario. That being said, games in New Orleans look amazing and when it comes to overcast weather, I do prefer 19 over 18.

Madden 18:

Madden 18 was 100 percent better visiually
It followed a real life color pallete and lighting scheme

Re: Lighting Patch?
@T4verts I think the common issue is we need a universal slider for calibration similar to FIFA and Battlefield

Re: Lighting Patch?
19 is definitely more realistic in the lighting and that's shown in these screenshots, the issue for me however is the realistic lighting makes it difficult to play in certain situations. It's just a matter of preference more than anything, I think. These are the pictures I sent T4Verts earlier

The 19 screenshot in Seattle is gorgeous, but it's too dark to see any nuances when sitting on your couch 6-10 feet away from your TV screen. Similarly playing day games in Indianapolis is a pain because the sun spots on the field are so bright it washes out the opponents uniforms. Again this is much more realistic looking, but the brightness difference between in the sun spot and not is so drastic it makes it a pain to play games in that stadium. (Big issue for me personally as I'm the Colts in an online CFM)Comment

Re: Lighting Patch?
There's absolutely no way that the 18 screenshot looks better or more realistic.
Not only does 19 look more realistic, but it's significantly more visually pleasing, especially in HDR on a high end TV.Comment

I have to agree with this. Madden 19 graphics are superior compared to Madden 18. Its not even close.OS needs a Thumbs DOWN button

Re: Lighting Patch?
I definitely think the graphics, textures and player models are superior in 19. I just don't see it with the lighting. Madden 19 looks like deus ex in that screenshot, lol. I need a real life comparison shot to understand what you guys see.http://twitter.com/sageinfinite

Re: Lighting Patch?
This is apparently a situation where TV adjustments come in handy. I prefer the M19 screenshot over the faded and washed out M18 lighting. Still in M19, teams like the Dolphins looks too washed out in sunlight situations; especially in their away (light) uniforms.Comment

Bring back the QB Vision 4 the Madden 19 game and or make it at least optional 4 gamers liked myself that want 2 use it. Madden 19 plays just like the last 3 or 4 previous Madden's b4 it with no control or direction of where u want 2 place the ball when trying 2 throw away from coverage. Smh

Re: Lighting Patch?
One thing I've seen that needs patching for M19 on Xbox1 is the kick meter. Some times it's there and other times to not
