Input response after patch

Does anyone else feel like the input response is super sketchy after the patch. Like the game is completely ignoring certain button inputs or is it just me?

I’m not certain if you mean in gameplay or menus. I personally have indeed noticed menus being very laggy. Didn’t have this problem at all before the patch. I play on PS4 cfm only and to me it’s a pretty noticable difference.

Alright thanks maybe placebo. I had three plays where I had a d back in position to make a play and even after ushering he made no attempt to swat the ball

That existed pre patch.

Yeah that issue was there before the patch too. They don't react to input, I've also seen it by my receivers on deep passes.

Its been like this. Madden has become very animation based. You're either in an animation or going into one.

I think what this thread is about is the entire lack of any animation. Like you hit catch but your guy literally does nothing, just keeps running.

Main thing I have noticed is the menu in cfm is really laggy. I thought maybe it was a server issue.

I’ve noticed this as well. It takes a lot longer to load up, I keep thinking it froze lol

Oh that has definitely happened to me. Been happening in the past few Maddens though so I just assumed it was EAs way of translating the ball was no where to be caught so no animations are triggered.

I go back and forth. Sometimes I think that, but other times they are SO close. It even prompts me to hit the catch button, but the receiver or defender do not act on it. I had a should be pick land about a yard away from my defender, so it definitely wasn’t out of reach
