Workaround: super sim each game as home team offense. Use a QB run play to on 1st offensive play of each quarter for home team. Super SIM the rest. That will work. For running qbs, run 2 plays a quarter. Well worth the time for guys who care about stats. Oh, and remember to use formation subs in running formations to get proper HB #1 and #2 carry distributions.
Has the patch fixed sim stats for QB running?

They also really need to fix wr catches and average yards a catch. I think someone already mentioned it. Why cant they just have someone go over sim stats and adjust them to the best of their ability? They had someone do it before.Comment

Re: Has the patch fixed sim stats for QB running?
Probably the same as Jim Grindin's excuse for the FOF games being overly reliant on the archaic Windows Forms application paradigm, which limits the game to Windows PCs, makes the UI look incredibly dated, and makes the UX extremely cumbersome. Probably also the same as Jim Grindin's excuse for FOF having no playable on-field football component, let alone a fully-3D real-time online head-to-head football component.
If you didn't catch my sarcasm, let me make it very clear here that I am being sarcastic and I quite like FOF. My point is that "What's their excuse for X?" a ridiculous question to ask in this case. Madden and FOF are two different products with two very different sets of expectations set by their respective developers and consumers. Comparison between the two is pointless.
You have not answered my point. Jim has no major studio backing. But he has produced a far more accurate franchise offering than EA has.
So its not a ridiculous question to ask at all. All you have done is tried to deflect the issue by talking about graphics and OS. Jim is not a graphics designer and he can't be expected to produce an on-field graphical product on his own.
We are not talking in this thread about graphics. We're talking about accurate sim stats that create an immersive franchise experience.
So again I ask the question. Why can he produce a sim with realistic sim stats and EA with more developers cannot?
PS. Glad you like FOF - I hope a lot of people here who love franchise games give the new product its support when it comes out later this year. What would Blackie Lawless do?Comment

Re: Has the patch fixed sim stats for QB running?
It's not that this is a "one off". For those of you who remember we had another stats issue in previous years, one of many im sure, where the LT's on the teams were racking up a ridiculous number of sacks allowed. Elite LT's were giving up in excess of 30 sacks per year, every year.
These Madden creators need to take a leaf out of the NBA 2K's team book. They listen and give the buyers of their games what they want. Clint and co are busy justifying why their game "is what it is". Cmon now!Comment

Re: Has the patch fixed sim stats for QB running?
...If i remember back like 10 years ago there was a sim bug that would give RBs insane amount of yards tacted onto their stats.
Same bug but for QB now? If so that is horribleLast edited by delspf; 10-24-2018, 04:42 PM.Can't believe I been a member here this longComment

Re: Has the patch fixed sim stats for QB running?
No, it is almost the opposite. When simming, QB's don't run whatsoever. At the end of the year the QB with the best rushing stats will have like 18 rushes for 40 yards or something like that. It's so unrealistic, and very frustrating. Total immersion killer!Comment
