I've been leaning towards the Minnesota Vikings.

I normally do full rebuilds in my Madden franchises, but the Vikings seem like a fun team that's just a step or two away from being a legitimate championship contender. It'll be interesting dealing with Kirk Cousins once his hefty contract expires.

Also, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Minnesota based on their colors and uniforms. Plus, Cousins just seems like a very likable guy.

I'm leaning towards the Bengals at launch. They seem like the odd one out in the AFC North. Everyone else seems to be trending upward and the Bengals are projecting to be in the basement this year. It's also going to be fun finding replacements for the current offensive core of Dalton, Green, Eifert, and possibly Mixon.



I'll probably also do a Bills franchise at some point. Love the new additions we got this year.

I’ll finally get to use a Bears team that isn’t a low 80’s high 70’s team. It’ll be different not being in full on rebuild mode and looking for a QB in my first draft.
Probably try that QB1 for a few weeks before school gets back in session and all of my time is spent on lesson plans and grading papers for my classes..

It is my team for 1....and Mariota still a young QB. Linebackers are all young, same with WRs. Nothing overpowering but I like the idea of rolling with my fan favorite team and grinding it out with them.

I am going to bring the Dolphins back to glory.....it may take 3-4 seasons but I am looking forward to the challenge.

I will definitely start with a steelers chise. Clean out the rest of the guys I see as low character/immature, and figure once Ben retires in a couple seasons, it could make for a fun transition period to try and keep them in the race with the improving Ravens and Browns.

I haven't played my Browns since M16. They aren't really a rebuild anymore but I may play 2 years with them and see if I can bring glory to Cleveland.

In M17 I did the 49ers, M18 the Jets, and in M19 I did the Dolphins and relocated them to become the Oilers.

My favorite of these last few was definitely the Jets. I played and simmed 25 years worth over the last almost 2 years

I think I may do 2 dynasties this year. One where I sim 1 AFC and 1 NFC team and see how many times I can get them to meet in the super bowl.

For one to play, I am deciding between the Bills, Titans, Panthers, and the Giants for a rebuild and play franchise.

2019 is my last year or sports game purchases so I have a long time to figure out exactly what I want to do.

I always do rebuilds in Madden. The last three years with the Colts, Jets and Rams. Jets was the most challenging one winning the Super Bowl after seven seasons. Rams was the most fun, and Colts a little frustrating because of me being bad at scouting and drafting players in Madden 19.

Now, I have thought about doing a kind of rebuild with The Rams and mold them into the 1999 type of team. Same type of players and same type of schemes. It would be fun if I was able to move them back to St. Louis, but I’m not sure that’s possible.

The browns. Im an lsu guy so it will be fun throwing to obj and landry. Plus with hunt on roster ootb the offense is gonna be prolific. I like the defensive additions also. The lb corp will be a little weak but thats where johnson and draft picks come in lol. Would like to get smith from dallas lol. Gonna be fun this yr and i can hardly wait

I'm definitely going to make myself in QB1 mode and explore everything it has to offer. I haven't played a "Superstar" mode since the PS2 days, so hopefully I can have fun with this.

If QB1 can be close to Superstar mode from PS2 that would be INSANE. I loved that mode so much back in the day. It's always what I hoped longshot would be. I hope they do well and I honestly hope the game mode gets good feedback so that they spend more time in it next year. I would love to see them open up the position options and I would love to have them simulate the experience of getting onto a team as a late round pick and having to work up the roster and watch from the sidelines for awhile. That would be really sick.

I'm going to stick with the Giants, and then I always pick a Team at random in the AFC. I set all their settings to Auto-Pilot to watch; I gotta get my CPU vs CPU fix in.


This also will allow me to watch to see if they take advantage of their Superstars & X-Factors - as well as to how they treat them in the Offseason.
