Even as a big career mode gamer, I'm not that hype about QB1 mode honestly. Yes the whole pre-NFL experience seems good. But once you get to the NFL, what will be the difference from doing a Player CFM. All CFM options should have the scenario engine. So unless they unique QB1 scenarios, I don't see it being different from Player CFM will offer.

I'm a Jags fan but I'm about to move to Colorado. I'll probably start a broncos franchise to further understand their roster and use that to help sell my art lol. Probably a franchise with my Jags after that.Teams:

I'll have one cfm with the Pats like I do every year . And then I'm torn between 2 teams for my second cfm , the Broncos and the Seahawks.

I am a patriots fan and usually do a franchise with them but not this year. This year I'm taking the dolphins and trading their best player at each position for every WVU player in the league. I have more connection to my college team and this is something I've never done. Should be fun and challenging

Re: What Team Are You Starting Your CFM with in Madden 20?
Falcons fan, so I’ll eventually do a Falcons one. But my initial chise will be with the Cardinals. I love using teams with rookie head coaches and rookie players I like. The cardinals have my favorite rookie coach, and some of my favorite rookie players in the entire draft class. Also running all of the new RPO plays with Murray and DJ sounds like a blast.Comment

I'm probably going to choose the Giants or another team if I think they are a harder rebuild. I'm going to try playing first but if I can't find a good balance, I will start start over using a combination of sim methods like Me Hurricane uses for his Browns and Cards rebuilds.
If you watch YouTube franchises you should check out those two. He does a great job of creating a simulation style franchise where you get some kind of story and investment in the characters.Just stop saying that Madden is garbage and you aren't going to buy it. We all know that you are telling a lie so you can feel better about yourself.Comment

Re: What Team Are You Starting Your CFM with in Madden 20?
I'll be doing it a bit different this year. 32 team control. Playing every game. Simple coin flip, heads for road team, tails for home. May broadcast some games if any interest comes about. I'm recovering from a fractured tibia so I have all of the rest of July and all of August to get in as many games as possible.NFL- Packers
NBA- Bucks

Re: What Team Are You Starting Your CFM with in Madden 20?
For the 20th-plus year I will be rolling with my Niners. I now have over 115 seasons played in my Niner Madden universe that goes back to Madden 99. My stat binder is pretty cool to look at. Even if madden is bad, I still find a way to knock out at least 2 or 3 season and when its good I've knocked out as many as 18 seasons.
As for the topic, I like to be a bad team with no upside so my options are:- giants
- bills
- fins
You could add the redskins, lions or broncos here. They are ok but tearing them down for youth would be better than running with their current squads.Comment

Re: What Team Are You Starting Your CFM with in Madden 20?
It took me a LONG while to figure out....
Thanks to T4Verts' awesome team rankings breakdown I got a much clearer picture of the landscape.
I had a few major wants:
- Not a rebuild; but I wanted a team that is teetering but has talent. I want decisions to matter early-on rather than the boring slog of tear-down, rebuild.
- A team in a division with at least 2 teams that are likely to be tough for a while
- A team with a HC that has over-stayed his welcome (making a "new hire" more plausible).
- A sub-optimal cap situation.
- Storylines. Must have storylines.
- Some sort of a 'personal connection' - a team or player that I could root for.
Well, I found a team that actually fit the bill - the Washington Redskins!
- Now some people might consider this a rebuild, but I disagree. For sure, it's a team that needs a re-tooling (particularly the WR corps and secondary). But the O-line and pass rush are solid. The RB corps (while injury-prone) has talent and we have a bunch of serviceable QBs. There are a number of decisions to be made with respect to going with aging vets vs younger players and I'm going to have to make the 'right call'.
- The division....Cowboys/Eagles are here to stay. Two very solid teams in great situations that should have a lot of 'staying power'.
- Yeah, Jay Gruden....bye bye....you've had your time.
- Salary cap - it's meh...that works for me.
- Storylines are abundant. How does the QB situation shake-out? What happens to Alex Smith? Can AP have one more good year and stave-off some talented young runners in Guice and Love? Can some of the younger defensive talent begin to step-up?
- Personal connection - as a OSU fan, I love the idea of trying to grow Dwayne Haskins and Terry McLaurin (who I think can be the steal of the draft). Also a big fan of Bryce Love and his talent.
I'll be using EA Access to play around with things and make sure I feel 'grounded' on my slider setup....but I'll be firing this up as soon as non-Access version of the game drops.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment
