M20 Biggest Draft Studs and Freaks

This. Across the board I think the classes have improved overall but there should occasionally be some guys that are just head and shoulders above the bunch in terms of being "ready now". I understand it won't happen as common at positions like QB but there are several other positions where rookies come in excel immediately.

That's something ive been focusing on with the fictional classes I've been working on. I've made sure to sprinkle some 80 - 82 rated players in the mix that can come in and immediately hit the ground running.

For those of you that haven’t used these.....I feel sorry for you, you’ve missed out.

I dont use downloaded classes simply because the draft grades and projected rounds aren't correct

Pretty sure they all still as show up at first round talent

If that has changed, then I may give them a shot

It hasn't changed, and the CPU teams have no idea what to do with them.

And therein lies the beauty.

Sapp provides comprehensive immersive scouting reports. It actually works out better that draft busts/gems are not revealed, makes scouting an enjoyable challenge.

Trading up in the first rd to take a guy you’ve pegged as a game changer only to reveal he’s a huge bust is a crushing endeavor that is actually enjoyable.

It makes the game so much more realistic and true to form. If you like to stack your teams, sure this may not be for you, but if you want the most enjoyable realistic draft experience, you have to try these classes.

What about the part someone mentioned about the CPU not drafting well because of the first round grade on everyone issue?

Open the class and change a players jersey # and save it. That fixes the issue with the grades

Not sure if this is the place for it but I have the 1st pick in my franchise. Who should I take? He a storyline that Vaughan won't play for us. He looks really good though...

Vaughan looks really good but he won't play for us is my story. Bracket does too but MLB isn't much of a need. How does Meadows look?

Meadows looks decent. Or Ventura? I like his finesse grade. Even better if he had a fast 40 time

Finally, 12 games in and the Giants got him 500 snaps.

He's a Superstar. Only ability he has is Post Flag Elite

Personally I think that's a good thing. Real life teams draft busts in the first round at a much higher rate than many people realize. The NFL network YouTube channel has a "hit, miss or meh" series that analyzes first round picks and it really sheds some light on how many first rounders end up being major disappointments or just "ok". I did some research over a 10 year time frame and came with numbers that show on average about 14 first rounders are "homeruns", 8 are "average" and 10 are busts.

I think the fact that you can change the scouting simply by editing anyone in the draft is great because it allows people who don't like the danger of yourself and the CPU drafting busts to avoid it and also allow people like wodi who enjoy the risk to have that option as well.

I ended up with two out of the top three picks after the second season of my Fins chise and took a CB with my first pick


6'1" 95speed 95acc 94agil 90jump 74zone 73man 75press 73 prec 69tackle and... 76 hit power. 79 overall. The hit power really sold me. If I didn't already have two studs at safety I'd think about moving him. Only Star dev, which is a bit of a bummer



My third went to a 6'3" WR 77 overall with with great stats, not what I would call a freak though.
