Anybody having luck with the Panthers Playbook? I checked for the defensive update, but it still looks the same from what I can see.

Re: Madden NFL 20 Patch 1.10 Available - Patch Notes Here
The Enforcer ability causes less fumbles than before the patch, BUT still far too many fumbles.

Did they tone down players getting 'In the zone' for the user?

Yup. 12 sec Acc clock is the right spot, imo. I looked up the avg number of plays for nfl and found this
Answer (1 of 5): For 2016, the average number of plays in total per team per game was 151. That includes offense, defence, penalties, punts, kickoffs, and PAT & FG attempts.
If u look at the reference given, this actually includes FG attempts, xtra pt attempts, punts, and KOs, just FYI. So, their avg was 134-168 plays per game. Again, this includes kicking the ball as well.
But yeah, I’m getting my play count right in this wheelhouse. Last 2 games were 143 and 153 plays. Again, I’m counting the kicking plays as well to match this reference data.

It looks like all they did was adjust the scheme. I decided for the time being to use the Patriots defensive playbook since it has a split of 3-4/4-3 plays.Comment

Same. I give up way too many yards and points and it’s ridiculous. No matter what I call. Funny thing is I created a ton of INTs tho. But besides the point. It grinds my gears. Default settings there are no inaccurate passes... CPU is just money.

Are you using the Simulation setting? I had some pretty good results
with Competitive and Arcade styles. Simulation never seemed to work
right for me.Comment

One thing that worried me is my week 3 matchup was against the Redskins and Alex Smith rolled in with like a 44/46 passing line lol.
Injuries at 50 were still killing my running backs. Had three injuries in one game with it. Put it down to 30 and it seemed better, only injured one of my running backs, Ito Smith the week after trading for him lmao.
Fumbles don't seem to be too big of a problem for me. RBs fumble usually once a game or twice a game if unlucky. Played against the Vikings and enforcer Harrison Smith didn't cause any fumbles the whole game even though he hit sticked me about 5-6 times.Last edited by Calipup; 08-21-2019, 02:08 PM.St. Louis Cardinals 4 lyfeComment

The fumble problem is not fixed. Five minutes into a game and three fumbles due to the x-factor ability.Comment

Second: alot of that comes from folks not indicating what the situations were that they were testing to make the claims or having played one game and claiming all things are great or all things stink. What I mean by situation: Fumbles are still bad, I have fumble slider set to 0, using the x factor traits, and I'm not covering the ball. OR Fumbles are still bad, I have fumble slider to 99, turned off x factor so enforcers are not at play and I cover the ball every time I run. I've played 42 games and see 8 fumbles a game vs I played 1 half and zeke fumbled twice, etc. Some more detail into what their settings and situations are would probably reveal more about what has been fixed and what can be adjusted on the user end to improve the outcome, or what just hasn't really been fixed at all.Comment

First: you have way too much time on your hands.

Time is irrelevant I just think no one knows what they want...

Believe it or not, the Lions Defensive playbook is another good one. Good mix of 3-4 and 4-3 formations. I seem to get pretty good pressure on the QB with their playbook.Comment

I had a similar experience with Trubisky. He went off 2 games, had an alright third game, and was absolutely horrible in the 4th game. Averages out to a ~60% or something I think, not at home to look.

I have injuries on default (40) and had Shady go down but then I ran the crap out of Gore and he stayed the course.
They still announce Josh Allen as my QB before the game, so I guess that's hard coded. In all so far, I'm having a blast playing.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 20 Patch 1.10 Available - Patch Notes Here
On my Xbox I was in week 12 of my franchise when the patch came out, so I started over to open my rookie players hidden abilities during season 1 instead of season 2. I simmed my preseason games, and played week 1-2 with play the moments simming. Today when I went in to play, both rookies were back to 0/500 plays.. just like before the patch that was supposed to fix this issue was installed.Comment
