Yeah agree with this whole thread basically. Whether advanced stats or historical stats I think both are needed. I’m sure if they implement an advanced stats system it will have some growing pains but it’d be worth giving a try.

Just to be able to look and see who won the superbowl the last couple of seasons and see the divisional standings would give you a sense of history and rivalries.

          This and this... times 1,000.

I can’t believe it is the year 2020 and I can’t see the team a player played for when viewing his historical stats.

This was in Madden DECADES ago, and it is in EVERY OTHER major top tier sports title. There is no excuse for something like this not being there.

EA is shamefully behind on this simple piece of data. I don’t know if it is lack of caring, lack of talent, lack of leadership, lack of resources. Or heck... lack of listening to the community desires even though they claim to listen. I dunno. Whatever it is though, it’s a massive and epic fail.

          It’s the year 2020, btw.

Re: Madden needs to start adding tracking for advanced statistics.

I think they leave it out on purpose, it was in Madden 2008 for the PC.

EA like, why do it? We aint making no money by doing that.

Season history stat tracking, you will be able to see how the historial stats look year after year based on the way you play, having that in the current version may slow sales for the following year. If you are happy with the current version CFM, why would you buy the next, just keep playing it if you have history you can look back on and able to get updated rosters. Especially when EA is not really focused on Franchsie or CPU vs CPU play. CFM features are lacking and the MUT people don't care about it.

The difference between Madden 2019 and 2020 CFM is the games AI, it's almost not enough of everything else to make you wanna buy 2020 for CFM.

The season stats are erased when you start a new season. You don't know team records, prevous standings, teams a player played on or nothing in CFM. It's you like just go from season to season with only new personnel changes.

Right now you can't even tell who won the SuperBowl the previous year, it's ridiculous.

Madden Xbox and PC 25 (CPU vs CPU), Footbal Mogul 25 (CPU vs CPU), Front Office Football 9 (CPU vs CPU), NBA 2K23 (CPU vs CPU), and several Military and 4X PC simulations.

You can play 30 seasons with no history, it's ridiculous.

I would first request they strive for stat tracking to the quality standard of the back of a baseball card from the 1890's. In the computer age they are unable to meet that standard from 130 years ago. If they weren't so busy counting their money because of MUT and the exclusive agreement they would be embarrassed.

Hall of fame players used to have their stats available to look at as well. Now when a player is in the hall there is literally no context of what they did or why they are there. Not to mention all these legend players EA has the right to used to be listed in the HOF in franchise with a short bio and I believe their yearly stats.
