I think the animations all look much better in broadcast cam, and I have thought that since Madden 25 when I first started using it. Everything looks less robotic & more natural, to me at least.

Plus, it requires you to really know your playbook and pay attention to matchups and think about timing...you are still passing blind most of the time, but knowing the routes your guys are running helps, and if you nail the timing it's actually pretty easy to throw.

I play regular Sunday games with the classic camera & PA announcer only, divisional matchups with the zoom camera and PA announcer only, and all Primetime / Post Season games on broadcast cam with Gaudin/Davis announcing. It's my own way of tricking my brain that there are different broadcast packages lol

I hear people complain about the game each year. However I think if they would play from broadcast camera, their level of satisfaction would increase tremendously. The animations alone come to life from this camera angle.

im an old schooler Tecmo bowl kinda guy and Joe Montana Sports Talk football player, so I would welcome this Coach Cam/Broadcast CAM in a heartbeat. But not like the one we have now.

I want a fully customizable CAM like we have in FIFA and in PES. I cant understand why the developers year after year have not given us this.....we've been asking for this forever!!!

I posted this is another thread; but this was a play I made in an online matchup while the trial was going on. I wish we had a zoom out view on passing plays...but even still. This was lovely! You can't do the Player Lock Workaround on H2H online games. At least it didn't work for me.

We have been playing in Broadcast the last several games and are fully in along with All-22.

I have been using the zoom out trick for passing plays and it does work well....but I also like All-22 as well. Gives a different flavor.

But my god, running the ball in Broadcast is a dream. The animations that have been unleashed are truly incredible!!!!!

Defense is also a blast. I play mostly DL but when I want to drop back into coverage as a LB or DB I simply player lock and I get the All-22 defensive perspective.

So we have a great time toggling between Broadcast/All-22/Player lock defensive perspective and I use the Zoom camera for all special teams plays.

A cornucopia of Madden greatness. The toggle was and is a huge feature (came out on Madden 15).

Broadcast is a true revelation for me (along with All-22 and player lock defensive perspective).

Also, how well are you able to hit the holes during a handoff? Running in between the lineman I would imagine would be tough.

Actually because we watch the game from this perspective, it is natural to our eyes/brain.

Football is the only sport we don’t play from the view of how we watch it on TV.

The behind the player view is unnatural & is the reason we pick up on so many odd animations, gameplay hiccups etc…, because the perspective is just odd.

Actually the controls are the same up is still moving forward. The running game is MUCH MUCH better, I think to a man everyone would attest to that. Once you start playing this way and make the adjustment and get used to passing you won't go back to the normal way of playing!

You'll be amazed at how smooth/natural it feels to run the ball on Broadcast Cam. Being able to set up blocks, start, stop and cut...and it's just beautiful to the eye. All that's missing is a Zoom Out Cam for the passing game. The workaround will definitely do for now. but, it's beyond time for a working Broadcast Cam for all facets of the game.
