Crashing 3 to 4 times a game still for me.

I reset my console and now trying 1440p 120hz instead of 4K UHD. So far so good, but this is still ridiculous.

So quick update:

After resetting the console, it appeared to have resolved the crashing issue for me. Something is corrupting the system firmware on the Xbox One Series X consoles and confirmed that through EA:


Hi everyone,



We are aware of some Madden NFL 22 players on Xbox Series X experiencing a full console shutdown crash during gameplay. Based on our active investigation with Microsoft, this crashing is caused by a system issue which is also impacting FIFA, Battlefield 2042, and NBA2k players.



An optional update targeted to resolve related crashing issues will be available to all Xbox Series X players starting November 17, and as mandatory update on November 23.

Crashes after preseason week 2. Played twice same result. Cut scenes screw up too. What a joke.

Anyone getting it regular season too? Its awful but if I just have to sim pre season I’ll survive

What console? My Xbox One Series X console updated today to Build 2111. So far so good. No crashing as of yet, but then I said that before and it reoccurred.

That's a good question.. I was never prompted for a system update but I'll check as it might have installed unintended.

Factory reset my entire Xbox & bought the digital version (previously used disc)

Same crashing happens. Literally cannot play CFM. Life is fun. Can’t get a refund cause EA Help just decided to stop answering me after I asked them for help originally to solve the issue.

If you're on Xbox, check for the update. Mine was just sitting there pending. I had to manually install it. Since then, no issues so far.

Just now starting my solo franchise offline, after my 1st & 2nd preseason games the game gets stuck. Its stay on the screen where Madden is flashing on the screen, like when load the roster & back out.

Im on the ps5

Same for me, after the last update it's been doing this. If I close the game and reload I'm right back to prior to playing the game like the game never happened. If I leave it on the Madden screen it just continues to cyle on that screen for hours. I swear, it's always something with this game...
