Amazing tool. The amount of work and detail is amazing. Is there a reference to what the info on the Scouting Report in Madden represents on the trait section of the tool? Most are obvious, high motor; motor always running hot; etc. A few aren't to me though.

Re: M22 Scouting Tool
Penalty: Should this be yes or no if they ARE a penalty risk? When I select no the score goes down, and up when yes. Unsure.
Personality; Clutch; and Predictable: What should I look out for here?
Sense pressure: Same unsureness as with penalty. If they sense pressure well or are quick to release.. should this be yes?
What is Good QB Style?
Desired LB Style? Is this a scheme match question?
Desired Play Ball??
*** Updated Pick - gets entered at what week?Comment

Re: M22 Scouting Tool
Thank you for putting the time and energy into creating this tool. I’m running a solo league and have not been happy with any of my 4-5 drafts. The only position I could draft well was OL. I just finished my first draft using the scouting tool (advanced) and hauled in 3 hidden development guys. Very pleased with how things went and intend to use the tool from now on!Comment

Predicable is a fairly obvious line but can't recall the wording.
Personality - doesn't matter AFAIK.
Qb/lb styles. Doesn't matter too much if you're usering. I used to have a theory that qb styles affected certain dice rolls in m19/20 as Scramblers seemed to miss wide open more in the pocket, never proven though.
Penalty - normal leave plank, likely to commit put no, unlikely put yes.
On traits: Having done a recent 32user online league draft class with 312 players up to expert level (all refined pre combine and all avaliable grades) I found that to be my limit in terms of time in vs draft result and traits I didn't consider an advantage for the time required.

For example, the recent SMLE draft mentioned in post above with Jets I got the following:
1,22 72ovr star dev RT
1,29 76ovr star dev pass rush OLB
2,9 exchanged for Kareem Hunt and got superstar on him.
2,29 70ovr star dev C
3,29 exchanged for CB Donte Jackson
4,1 73ovr superstar FS
4,2 74ovr normal dev TE
4,9 74ovr normal dev WR
4,13 exchanges for WR Adam Thielen
5,29 69ovr normal dev HB
6,29 66ovr normal dev TE
Remember, you're drafting vs 31 users, all of which have the Scouting Tool if they wanted it [emoji23] online leagues are franchise hard mode, solve a lot and are very fun.
Can verify here by using the team filter:

Re: M22 Scouting Tool
Excellent tool, had a revision that might be useful to shortcut some manual entry and in-game screen jumping around.
I used to use Old Man Nathy's spreadsheet from '18-'20. First draft with the game and this tool, started in week 1, so we'll see how this works out.
1. I've expanded the college name list and matched up the names to what I saw in-game. I think there were only 5 that didn't match the in-game college name.
2. I've added ~80 colleges based on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NCAA_conferences to match the # of schools in each Conference.
3. I've configured the Region (P column) to do an Xlookup with this formula: =XLOOKUP(ED106,Colleges!$C$3:$C$256,Colleges!$B$3: $B$256,"Missing",0,1)
4. Columns ED-EF formula changed to extend to cells 256
I've got the beginning on an idea on Scout use planning/coverage against the players, but it's really early stages. It'll depend on how much free time I get if I'm motivated enough to do something with it. I think I'll need to get through at least 2 drafts before I get into it.
Have a couple of suggestions for UI/UX design.
A. Take a look at the order of the input fields in-game and put them in order. Example:Columns for Pos|Arch|Age|Height|Weight is out of order with the screen order. This order looks pretty standard from OMN's order, but I'll screw up data entry every few players and get the annoying pop-up about incorrect values. If this was in the card order on-screen, that chance is reduced and users can touch type much easier. This would also apply to the other pages (see below).
-- The data entry even for the Basic version of this requires jumping across 133 columns... there's a difference between data entry and analysis workbooks. It might make more sense to have a Data Entry worksheet and do the cool color coding on a presentation page?
B. With the lookup formula, you could lock the Region. This would allow users to stay on the Overall Ranking page for data entry and enter the College from there. Less user error chance with the Region locked based on the State College being looked up against the Region.
C. I'd recommend aligning the inputs with the screen order. It can really reduce the input time and improve User Experience. I know I'm all over the spreadsheet to input data, which is a little frustrating.
Looking at the X-Box One X screen, the order of information appears to be:
Overview/List View
1. Rank
2. Position
3. Name
4. College
5. Height
6. Weight
7. Projected Range
8. Talent (hidden)
9. Scout Completion %
10. Rank Change Over the Season (Column C)
Scouting Report Page
11. Player Notes
12. Archetype
13. Key Ratings
Physicals Page - Probably changes based on position in-game?
14. Acceleration
15. Agility
16. COD
17. Jumping
18. Speed
19. Strength
20. NFL Combine - Not sure what this looks like yet
21. College Pro Day - Not sure what this looks like yet
Skills Page
22.-39. - The A-F skill ratingsComment

Re: M22 Scouting Tool
I love this tool! Great work!
Im not super proficient in excel, so i don't know how much work this would be. But is it possible that when you check the x for taken on the Scouting Tool tab. It darkens that player on either the Draft Board or Top Player tab. Both would be fanatic but if only one could be done that would be super helpful for when your looking at the Draft Board for Best Player Available you can see right there who is left.
Thanks for all of your good work!Comment

After you "X" a player, just sort by "blanks". Ever X player will be gone.Comment

Re: M22 Scouting Tool
Hey guys, I asked this in Maddanites other thread (Franchise Tips) but didn't get any answer so thought maybe someone here could answer this quick question for me. Just really looking for confirmation, when you assign a scout to a region do they scout all prospects in that region regardless of their specialty? And the national scout scouts all prospects?WHO DAT! | GEAUX TIGERS! | LET'S GO RANGERS!

I believe they only scout everyone up to 40%, then i think they further scout their specialty(s) and then scout even more what you specifically assign them to.
For example a scout assigned to the West with a specialty in LE and RE will scout everyone to 40% the LE and RE in the west a little bit further than that and if you tell him to specifically scout WR's he will scout them further but noone else. Thats my understanding.Comment
