No problemo, buddy. Glad you can enjoy the game. It’s a shame the hoops we jump thru for this stuff. Ea if you are out there, let me do the playbooks. I’ll do them for free. The playbooks are the games biggest issue.

Should I add more plays for the bears playbook? The reason why I said that was because, I did a bears vs browns game and when the bears start passing the ball, Justin Fields kept running while not looking at his wrs.

That’s a slider/traits/archetype ssue. Edit fields until he becomes an improvisor.he wont take off as much but he will still take off. I edit all qbs until they are imrpovisors. Improvisors plays the most realistic.

I second this. Hire the man. Hire Sabo too. Do those 2 things and watch sales of the game and profits skyrocket. The Show team hired Ridin to take care of rosters on MLB the Show. If EA wants to jump ahead of 2k and stay there, they need to hire those who know the game even better than they know it themselves.

Tommy are you on Xbox or PS?

I know earlier in the thread you said you don't have to create a new account. When I'm on the main menu, I can't click on my current profile with the second controller. I'm forced to create a guest account or create a new profile.

Do I do a profile reset? If so, how do I do that?

Any tips here? Thanks!

Nevermind. Figured out how to make it work. At least I think so.

If you're on PS5 and want to be able to PLAY in the games against the CPU, here's what I did (if it helps anyone):

1) Set up a separate PSN account and create its own unique EA sports profile
2) Download the custom books to this second profile
3) Under franchise settings --> League Settings, turn full on-field control and instant starter OFF
4) Create a new user for your opponent. Choose their 3rd string QB. Switch back to your user team
5) Move your second controller to your opponent side and choose your custom playbook

Enjoy!!!!

I hope this helps anyone on PS5. I tried Tommy's approach but I realized he's on xbox.

Hi tommycoa idk if you know this setting but do you have Pass Visual Pass Coverage on or off? It's in Visual Freedback. I have with it on as of right now and it pretty much affects the gameplay. If you have the settings on default then I'll copy yours. Thanks

I turn all the visual features off, as well as the gameplay helpers.

Here’s a copy of what settings i run first with every Madden. Make sure you edit all qbs into the Improvisor archetype. The abs play very human like with this setting. They move in the pocket. I also recommend turning the throws ball away trait off and turning any oblivious to pressure trait to average or paranoid. Don’t use oblivious. These settings, mainly sliders will need tweaking but it’s a good start point. How I test is, I watch all week one games and do the averages of the 16 games. This gives us a seasons worth of games with different teams and styles. It’s also a lazy way to have the stats easy to average.

Off for superstars. On Xbox one Madden 23 it actually turns suoerstar off by week 5 or 6 or so.
