What i do like...when i make a terrible throw, it gets picked. I threw 5 picks over the last 2 games and looked at the replays and none of them were cheap.

    Bad throws...CPU made me pay.

I was playing the other night and I don't remember who it was against but the CPU QYB threw their 3rd or 4th int of the first half. It got me thinking about something.

This wouldn't fix the issue but I seem to remember at one point in the NCAA games that if your quarterback was playing really poorly, mainly I think throwing too many picks they would get benched and the backup would come in.

Am I totally wrong about that ?

Either way with these tags they have now it would be great if they had a check that if QB's weren't a star quarterback that there were some parameters that would have the QB get benched and the backup comes in. With these storylines and cutscenes it would be incredible if then it could lead to a QB controversy.

I've thought it here and there over the years when a CPU QB was playing poorly but this year with all the ints really got me thinking about how the CPU never pulls anyone whose playing poorly. Even say an O lineman who has given up 4 sacks, etc.

Would be nice to implement that into the game.

Awesome idea first and foremost. The issue is EA more than likely made another mistake and needs to fix it. Wanting them to actually build on it is wishful thinking at best. Just look at the things they need to fix/rebuild but still add things on top of it to make it even worse. I'd rather wait for a fix of the foundation before they add anything. I don't even want new fans, ticker, stadium etc. Just fix the basic game and then go from there.

I am convinced there has been some improvement. It's not right yet, but I certainly see less interceptions of CPU QB than the early game.
Maybe it's linked to human interceptions (which have reduced by improved skill and familiarity...I threw 52 in my first franchise season, 23 in my most recent) in a "tit-for-tat" style, but definite change.

The game doesn't keep historical team records, but I looked back over some player stats. In the 2025 Cowboys season, my team (PS5 All Madden, 11 min quarters) had 14 INTs and 36 sacks.
I can't see the historical team stats, but player stats for Trevon Diggs:

                2022 10 INTs
                2023 18
                2024 4
                2025 4
                My CB2 now 87 rated x-factor rookie season was 2023. 2, 1, 3 INTs.

Trying to think back, whilst I saw more INTs from LBs and S than you would expect, if was like 1-4 per player per season, where you would really expect a range of 0-2.

The team defence is better....seems I'm better at drafting defence than offence

So, anecdotal, one team one human player, but does seem better.

On AI INTs by the way, for me, most are bad reads. Still some crazy ones: recent case TE on an out, the defender in man was beaten and turned his hips inside. He still managed a 270 degree turn to beat the TE to the pass. Those happen, but most are bad reads.
