I'm default Pro. For my style of play, it works for me. I'm on Series S.

I love the option for sliders. That being said, I always feel like EA tests everything on default as 99% of users are going to leave it at default. So they test on default with no sliders and that's the criteria.

Trying over the last few years to stay on default.

I agree. I'm so bad that I just do everything at default. Qtr length, runoff, all of it. LOL

I’ve learned over the past year not to touch any sliders on any sports game now. I feel default all pro is the best way to go for me.

This kind of plays into my wheelhouse if true, but I'm suddenly thinking sliders are just like the ones on a sound mixer. Midway is always 0. You can then go + or - however many places. 50 may well be their 0, now.

Played another game last night as Dolphins vs Patriots, and the CPU passing game is really quite believable.

Jones was 16/23 for 220 with 2 tds and 1 int.

I had a really good game with Bridgewater. Depending on how it goes, I might have to look into nerfing my passing game a bit. The best part is that I feel like I CAN and WANT TO step up in the pocket this year.

The only other thing that I need is something more from the CPU running game, but that might just be a product of the short quarter length on default. Hopefully a minor tweak to cpu rush and human passing doesn't break anything.

I've had two ongoing franchises, one on Pro with slightly modified Playmakers sliders, and another on pure default 50 All-Madden, 10 minute no runoff. Being in about week 10 with both of them, I throw way more user interceptions with 80ovr Kirk Cousins on the Pro set than I do with 72ovr Gardner Minshew on default All Madden, almost 3:1, and I'm using the same playbook in both and pretty much using the same types of throws and plays I usually would. The only slight thing I notice is on All-Madden, they're always my fault, where on Pro I feel like there's more player warping and silly circus INTs.

Thing is, I've seen the CPU throw way more interceptions in All-Madden than Pro, also almost 3:1. It's like I can't find the right balance. May just need to try a default All-Pro and see what happens.

I hate slider chasing because it starts to feel like everything's a mirage. If I build a set so that I get realistic stats, and then get better at passing, do I rebalance the sliders? And then if I struggle, do I move them back down? If I lead the league in passing yards, do I have to feel bad about it and change my sliders so passing is harder?

Playing default AP until it gets too easy and then move up to default AM seems like the way to go to me.

Agreed big time. My success passing so far no matter what level has been staying in the pocket and stepping up - up left - up right. It was already beating that loop blitz BS.

that is EXACTLY why I've always personally hated using sliders.

Same I never feel satisfied with my stats. A perfect example is when madden auto tuned sliders. You would do well vs a team you should then it ups the difficulty for the next team to a point where you can’t win. I C was enjoying default with 10 minute quarters. In my test season. I decided to play a couple of games at 6 minutes 25 runoff and my stats were lower attempts wise but game felt better and stats were OK. The CPU played to its strengths better and the game was a tad quicker so mistakes mattered more. I might sim some games with a dice roll to even then out but I’m to old to be chasing sliders anymore I play to enjoy a quick game of football. I even just started a 2nd franchise on simple saying screw it I can’t take advantage of a CPU if the CPU runs everything. It has been interesting not knowing what direction the team is going in and just enjoying some quick games at work or during lunch.

I moved the interceptions slider to 10 for both teams and the human qba to 10. Suddenly the CPU threw interceptions, less batted balls.

Moved everything back to default and had a 20/17 game with no interceptions and a batted ball to win the game. Also a number of drops from both teams. Best game I've had so far.

Does playing on default solve the CFM crash issue?? I still haven't started a CFM because of this.

As someone who just started playing Madden LASY YEAR. I'm, well, not that good.

I play on Rookie to learn. Should I go with DEFAULT settings on Rookie or use the ROOKIE settings Dagan has suggested in another thread?

                              ANY Rookies out there?
                              I am the way
