Honestly, how many players actually play through the 10+ seasons needed to make the bug a 100% crash issue? I'd wager less than 1% of all players who exclusively play Franchise mode do so. I exclusively play Franchise, and I've gotten to 8 seasons played only a couple times because eventually I get bored with my team and restart. For the bug to crash your Franchise with 100% certainty, you need to play 10+ seasons.

It's annoying, it sucks, but it's not this major issue affecting a ton of players that the doomsayers say it is.

Shouldn't brush it off. It is broken if you can't go past 10 seasons. The mode is sold as 30 seasons if I recall correctly.

Anyone notice the CPU basically never runs the ball anymore? I just played against the Browns and they had 6 carries. 12 minute quarters. This has been a reoccurring theme for the past 5-6 games I’ve played. Including games against Tennessee, Cleveland, and San Francisco who obviously all have feature backs.

Oh ok. Well I will give update after this season.

Yes, I have noticed this they seem to be very pass-happy and the CPU uses slant passes to get itself out of trouble. No matter the team or the playbook they seem to all play the same way and use the same basic plays.

The way to fix this I think is by having a 2nd controller and editing the teams playbook, take away all the favorite plays that is rated high, it should make it more variety playcalling

I've tried that the other day and oddly the CPU kept calling pass plays. The second controller trick is still better than the alternative, but i have noticed that the CPU doesn't really call only the starred plays. It used to be that way in the past but i've seen a real difference in that every team comes out three wide and slants and meshes you to death.
But you're right the second controller may be the only way to combat this.

I noticed it is a lot easier to pass and run the ball now. I think that is due to defenders having a natural delay to their actions now. Change of direction speed is more respected now. Where as before, defenders could change directions on a dime and not lose a step. Definitely make some passing routes look more natural. If a WR is going one way and then breaks the opposite direction, you now see the DB trail him and be a few yards behind.

I think there's some hidden adaptive playcalling in the code somewhere. I believe this used to be a thing or maybe still is. The CPU will use what's effective. I think it's just too quick to abandon the run if it's unsuccessful. That's at least in my experience. Generally if the CPU is somewhat successful running the ball the 1st drive it will continue to mix in runs. But if I stuff the runs it will be mostly pass the rest of the game.

I believe this is true. I've noticed it in the CPU playcalls. Especially if they're beating you with a certain pass plays like sticks and slants that your CPU teammates never seem to cover, they'll keep milking it.

For me it's too easy now. I used to find it a challenge when using placement & accuracy, I bit my nails with every pass because you had to be so precise. It was frustrating but at the same time that was part of the challenge to get better and it also reflected the ratings of the QB you were using. Now i'm cutting up defenses with Ryan Tannehill with no resistance. It feels like classic passing and the game is helping me and it's taken the learning curve and challenge out of the passing game.

So is the draft loop glitch fixed for only online franchisees? Or offline as well?

Draft loop glitch was only online franchise. The franchise corruption issue is for offline and there's no mention of it being fixed.

I’ve been waiting for this to get fixed to buy the game (which I just did). Finally!

I could have sworn people had experienced the draft glitch on offline as well.
Anyway, is online franchise now the less buggy option?
