I think a quick fix for this issue, unfortunately requires two controllers but you have to go edit every teams playbook and edit them to where they don't have "favorited" plays for certain down and distances, this might help open the the playbook more. Only would work with a second controller though

I really don't get this "broken" Franchise complaint.
Honestly, how many players actually play through the 10+ seasons needed to make the bug a 100% crash issue? I'd wager less than 1% of all players who exclusively play Franchise mode do so. I exclusively play Franchise, and I've gotten to 8 seasons played only a couple times because eventually I get bored with my team and restart. For the bug to crash your Franchise with 100% certainty, you need to play 10+ seasons.
It's annoying, it sucks, but it's not this major issue affecting a ton of players that the doomsayers say it is.Comment

Some people take it overboard. But the majority of people aren’t doomsdayers because they want the product to work as intended. Almost everyone I’ve talked to has had at least one of their franchises crash. That is hours upon hours sent down the drain.Comment

I defended the AI playcalling in another thread, but since the last patch I’m not seeing the same degree of balance. Seems the AI is pretty well determined to pass at a 3:1 ratio even if they’re having good success on the ground. Seeing lots of 30 passes to 10 runs even if they’re getting 7 yards a pop running it. Was seeing way more 60/40 type games before.
Also related to this patch: I think the lighting is bugged out. Aside from them removing the cool blue lights during Detroit touchdowns, seems like the lighting & shadows on bare-skin arms is all glitched. White guys in particular look like they’re glowing but it’s happening to everyone if you look for it. Maybe it was always like that but it’s been bothering me lately.
What level are you playing on? I play on AM and don’t see this issue. Most of the time teams are pretty balanced.
