Was seeing way more 60/40 type games before.

Also related to this patch: I think the lighting is bugged out. Aside from them removing the cool blue lights during Detroit touchdowns, seems like the lighting & shadows on bare-skin arms is all glitched. White guys in particular look like they’re glowing but it’s happening to everyone if you look for it. Maybe it was always like that but it’s been bothering me lately.
I think a quick fix for this issue, unfortunately requires two controllers but you have to go edit every teams playbook and edit them to where they don't have "favorited" plays for certain down and distances, this might help open the the playbook more. Only would work with a second controller though

Honestly, how many players actually play through the 10+ seasons needed to make the bug a 100% crash issue? I'd wager less than 1% of all players who exclusively play Franchise mode do so. I exclusively play Franchise, and I've gotten to 8 seasons played only a couple times because eventually I get bored with my team and restart. For the bug to crash your Franchise with 100% certainty, you need to play 10+ seasons.

It's annoying, it sucks, but it's not this major issue affecting a ton of players that the doomsayers say it is.
I've played in an online franchise with like 10-15 of my local football friends and we've gone 10+ years in the game several times. It's flat out indefensible to not be able to play the game beyond 10 years. The reason a lot of people I personally know have stopped doing that is mostly directly related to EA's reluctance to treat the mode with any sort of due respect. If it was a fleshed out, feature-filled, bug-tested product I would have zero problem filling half of a league at least with players who want a 10+ year experience.

EA definitely wishes all their customers were like you. I’ve had multiple franchises crash well before 10 years. And like other posters mentioned, if it’s supposed to go 30 years, why should people not be upset if it only goes 10 at the most?

Some people take it overboard. But the majority of people aren’t doomsdayers because they want the product to work as intended. Almost everyone I’ve talked to has had at least one of their franchises crash. That is hours upon hours sent down the drain.

What level are you playing on? I play on AM and don’t see this issue. Most of the time teams are pretty balanced.

Different teams are good! Hopefully the game isn’t set up like madden though that would be tragic

“Most” people have said yes with draft glitches and franchise save after 10 years.
