I'm playing the PS4 version (on a PS5 no less), but I was playing Comp the last few years because I felt it provided more of a challenge. I switched back to Sim a few weeks ago, and it's been even better. I'm actually being challenged on AP.

Hands down best Madden in the history of the franchise! I play All Pro / Sim, not seeing any of the negative aspects mentioned within the sim style of play. Also, if I'm recalling correctly, this is the first time in the history of the franchise that I've actually played more than 2 franchise seasons. I'm moving into year four and guys let me tell ya, I feel like a kid in a candy store.
The player movement is gorgeous (a few hitches here and there every now and then that could be smoothed out), and the way the weight is shifted around during direction changes shows that the physics are represented VERY well. This is CRUCIAL for a football title, and absolutely no football game before this represents it better.
All I'm asking for at this point is for the devs to expand equipment selection (TredCAl thigh pads please and thank you), polish off presentation camera shots and stat overlays, and drop a sports broadcast team in the franchise mode and we're gold!Last edited by kingsofthevalley; 12-22-2022, 08:38 PM.Comment

One thing keeping me from upgrading to the PS5 version, I've noticed watching YouTube videos that the jersey numbers for some teams still don't look right. The 49ers are one of those teams and it would drive me nuts playing with them.
Such a little thing, but I wish they'd fix that. And maybe update the 49ers midfield logo too.Comment

Agreed. I’m loving the on field gameplay. I enjoy the HFA effects even though I know most don’t. My last season I was 7-1 home and 4-5 on the road. My wishlist going forward is to have CPU teams use scenarios (especially breakout and preseason development scenarios) and have those scenarios tied into the news feed. This is crucial to developing young players and creating roster turnover. Also I want to see more dynamic CPU team management. Teams need to have more personality. I use a dummy account to go through each week and click scenarios but it’s a time drain. It definitely stretches preseason out but those are necessary to helping the CPR develop players. It “only” adds say 15 mins to each week during the regular season but when you multiply that out over several seasons it adds up.

I like how the game plays on All Madden this year. All Pro has gotten too easy, seems they nerfed All Pro, it use to be challenging.
But All Madden plays great, my only issue with AM is that the pass blocking is too OP, elite pass rushers get no pressure unless it's a random canned block shed.Xbox Series X: KILLMUNGERComment

I play with CPU PB on 46. It helps with ROBO QB too. Make the throw under pressure rating matter
