Testing servers. It's easier to find what the problem if there are fewer to figure out who set it off, but more people are more likely to catch it a given problem. So they ramp up slowly.

People forget, while EA does use the closed beta to hype the game, that's a side benefit. It's not for us.

While i do agree that the beta isn't just for the players and for EA to actually test out the servers , the main issue that comes in is that early June becomes madden’s version of Black Friday with thousands and thousands of people searching for codes even if they signed up when they were supposed to and having scratch and claw their way to find one. EA doesn’t want everyone hopping on the servers at the same time? Fine but don't leave people in the dark wondering when the next wave of codes are going out. Give us dates and times and the never ending waiting game to get a code stuff would finally stop. But the icing on the cake is that even if you DID sign up during the beta signup period a content creator that EA is partnered with will have 5-10 extra codes to giveaway to people who didn't even sign up in the beta signup period which somehow leads to the people who were ready and took initiative to get a code to end up waiting LONGER than the people who just got lucky and may not even care to play longer than a few hours. At the end of the day its a slap in the face to the REAL Players that play their game consistently. Point Blank Period.

Any extra Xbox series X or PC codes out there, dinner and drinks on me (reasonable dinner prices, we’re not talking wagyu steaks and filet mignon lol) !! Gotta make sure we’re tracking on the same page upfront!

Got the E-mail but the DL speed is very slow, 8 hrs. Anyone else experience the same? I guess because everyone is trying to DL at the same time?
