Defense: man align and match

EA: I’m confused the purpose of man aligning when you’re in a zone and the corner will come over to give a man look in the slot but still be responsible for the zone on the other side of the field. You had it figured out a few years ago but not now. It’s stuff like this that just doesn’t make us feel comfortable we got football guys making this game.

Also, these match coverages don’t properly leverage the wheel routes. That’s a common for modern defenses. I know the blown coverages have been brought up but today was my first lab day with the game and I was shocked. I mean match coverage has worked somewhat in years past, why all the sudden is it so hard to impliment?

Man align in zone coverage used to work - players would change their zone. It was broken though last year and remains so.

Another good example of a great idea in theory but poor execution. Unfortunately when certain things break it takes a while (see: years) for them to be fixed for some unbeknownst reason despite working in previous iterations of the game.
