Hearing that the fatigue issue is fixed is great news. I have not tried it myself. Also the face editing has been fixed which is awesome. Penalties are what they are.

But the two big issues for me are the run/pass ratio and the 3-4 defense glitch.

My question is how are you all dealing with the 3-4 defense glitch. It is easy to fix for the user through the depth chart. But are you doing anything to fix it against the teams you play or just ignoring it? I am legitimately asking to see how everyone is handling the issue. Also, does anyone know if EA is aware that it is an issue at all?

i tried it on default settings with 11 minute quarters all star and it is fun again, it must’ve been fixed after patch. i also seen something weird, i had an illegal man downfield, and it wasn’t a rpo play.
Also saw a shotgun play, looked like the quarterback was gonna drop it(it wasn’t a draw play either) weird good.

So, what is the general consensus for fatigue settings right now? Is it as simple as lowering the slider? I don’t have any interest in editing players ratings especially if I’m going to have to revert them if a patch comes to nerf the fatigue changes shortly.

Yah, this is super fixable and super customizable to get the outcomes you want.

I have upped my FAT to 75 and I’m just experimenting with positional in/out values to get what I want. Everything is working well for me, so I’d say this issue is a non-issue.

The only one that remains, to my mind, is the play calling. If they could just revert that to how it was a few months ago, this would be pretty close to a perfect game for me.

I hate saying start from scratch for your sliders but this might be the case to fix any issues you’re seeing.

I also saw ineligible receiver but on a screen pass and illegal block during return. I don’t recall seeing these at all before. These games are playing great for me.

We're aware and working to resolve an issue players are experiencing with the latest fatigue tuning.

As we work on a resolution, fatigue will be temporarily disabled exclusively in Ultimate Team. Other Madden 24 modes are unable to be updated until a future Title Update.

Completely unacceptable and ridiculous. Im normally a person who does not get upset over things but the fact we may have to wait a MONTH to get something fixed that wasn't broken all year is insane to me. All of this legacy code needs to go and be started over because this getting out of hand. Its an every year thing now smh.

I been saying for years that EA should make the Game from Scratch Code in Unreal Engine or Unity instead of Frostbite because Frostbite engine isn't built for Sports games , it's built for shooters.

They can do it easily, they just write their plans for what modes they will have and completely build the game from scratch code, completely scratch in one of the top engines in gaming and the Legacys issues will all be gone. The game will run more efficient and look and play better than years previous.

Sucks this had to happen, I just drafted Arch Manning to Denver and wanted to play his whole career. Now I am just gonna end up shelving the game. I'm not waiting another month, I'm just gonna go back to NCAA 14 revamped.

It's the "back end" that's the problem though. On-field plays very well. The back end (roster management, FA, Draft, scouting - it's the same with a new skin, depth chart, and fatigue) are all legacy. Which is crazy, because the back end is basically a table top game of dice rolls.
The sub-in and sub-out has been this same set up for years.

You should be good to go.

I have FAT at 85, auto subs in the low to mid 80s and don’t have any problems.

They changed how much FAT tolled for small players engaging big OL due to MUT cheese blitzes.

At 50 fatigue, lighter weight defensive players fatigue really fast when engaging with the oline. With a CB, two engagements with the oline and the CB will get subbed out. If it happens a bunch, the CB will be gone the whole game.

I’ve been playing at 25 fatigue to avoid this from happening. But I do think the game plays better than ever before on default.

I haven't really experienced anything either, with exception of the first game I played post patch. However, my issue was my O line becoming completely gassed.

I have 2 players on my D that turn yellow from time to time, but no issues with subbing, and players disappearing.

All said and done, I feel like they improved on fatigue. Seems like it's doing what it should.

Pretty certain I have my fatigue slider set at 70.
