However, based on what I have seen in College Football 25, it doesn't sound like Teambuilder offers that capability in Franchise. I hope I'm wrong in this conclusion with Madden.

Concerned About Teambuilder In Madden - Essentially Not a Team Editor
When I heard Teambuilder was coming to College Football 25 and Madden 25 I was very excited for the potential. Excited because I essentially viewed Teambuilder as a way to edit an existing team in Franchise like the Eagles and be able edit them where their logo and team colors are reflective of the early 90s, the Kelly green. Same with the Seahawks and editing the stadium end zones to reflect their 80s/90s look. Basically thinking I would have the same capability I do with NBA 2K MyLeague Franchise mode and swapping out the current Mavs and Hornets logos for the classic 90's look.

My anticipation/excitement for Teambuilder has significantly waned with how much Teambuilder for CFB has disappointed me

They say "no copyright images" but there are tons of existing FBS teams up on Teambuilder right now like USC, ND, Michigan, Alabama. I don't know if they will be allowed to stay up or how long before they get taken down but it is possible to make them. The only names I've seen reported blocked are like D2 and FCS teams. I'm assuming it would be the same thing for NFL, so I would probably just monitor the Teambuilder vault on CFB and see if those teams stay up or get taken down.
Regardless, I likely won't be doing Teambuilder as long as they keep it for online only. I was finally able to start a dynasty with a Teambuilder team last night, but I couldn't use a custom roster. Even if I could get it to start using a custom roster, I don't really want access to my dynasty to hinge on the whims of EA servers.Comment

It's easy to do rebrands via Teambuilder. I've done it several times in Teambuilder in CFB 25.
When you import the team, you can use a custom/stock roster or replace the existing team's roster. You just have to upload your team's logos.
There's a warning about copyrighted images but NBA2K has had the same thing for years and nothing gets taken down, same in CFB 25 thus far."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I basically want the same thing. As a lifelong Dolphins fan, I absolutely hate the current uniforms, and want to alter them to have colors that better reflect what I want from the franchise. As it is, I've been "frankensteining" a set mixing and matching various parts from various eras, but that's not perfect, and there's always the fear that they'll remove one of those sets from the game as well.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Sir, this pretty much sums up why I don't do online leagues.Comment

I wonder if this also works with the relocation process in Franchise mode. Or how relocation works in general now with the Teambuilder tool.NFL - Pittsburgh Steelers
NBA - Minnesota Timberwolves
MLB - Oakland A's
NHL - New Jersey Devils
NCAA - Florida GatorsComment

We get team-builder but 2K is still miles ahead. In 2K you can do league expansion and with custom teams you don't lose any immersion. How lazy is it that we can't get a generic intro for team builder teamsGiants, Yanks, and LWOComment

It's the same as College but worse because you can't even run a quick match like you can in college. It's glitching out bad no matter what browser I use. It's hit or miss but it's my hope the site is just overwhelmed right now because of how new it is right now. I got 2 teams to go through but it's nothing but buffering with no results right now...Comment

Online Franchise works the sane as offline from what I've seen.
You start up your Franchise import your custom team, you have the option to use your own roster or default game.
Other than that, works fine I don't see the problem?I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.

You can make your Franchise private and run it just as you would as it's offline with the custom unis and stadium as well as rosters.I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.
