1st qtr down and 50 50 running to pass ratio against the bears. Revamped passing felt nice and familiar after cfb. Gotta go to work but my very quick initial impressions was positive.

What are the positives of Revamped Passing? I tried using it, but all of my deep passes were perfect, which made the game too easy

I'm glad revamped has made it's way to Madden.
Seems to work great for keeping CPU QB completion % in check on CFB as it seems the game utilizes the same passing mechanics for user and CPU so they get affected by the Pass Lead, reticle speed, etc as well.

Tested a handful of games this week against CPU on CFB 25 with Placement (what I was using in Madden) and Revamped and it was night and day.
The exact numbers evade my memory but I know two games against Placement CPU were very Robo QB-esque at 80%+ and on target throws.
Three games against Revamped and they averaged in the upper 60s with multiple over and under throws in each game.

Excited to see what the patch has in store for CPU Playcalling in Franchise as well. Can't wait to keep refreshing OS all day while I'm at work to hear from everyone lol.

Your throws will likely be very accurate unless you adjust QB accuracy sliders and the pass lead / reticle speed settings.

In CFB my QBA was at 15 with pass lead at large and reticle speed I adjusted between 10-20 to test and passing was much more difficult than the standard QBA at 50 and pass lead small or medium with reticle speed in the single digits.

I think the most frustrating part is that they're allowed to release patches without the patch notes being ready for release. Sony and Microsoft need to come together and put a stop to that with all games. As a consumer, we should know what we're downloading BEFORE we have to download it.

Gone are the days of patch notes being available on the consoles I guess

That's my point. They should be out around 10 or 11 the day before.

CPU Play Calling in Franchise was not addressed in this Update. I played New England @ Cincinnati, in week 1. I was New England. Cincinnati ran 28 Offensive plays in the 1st half, 25 passes, and the only runs were Burrough having to take off to escape pressure. Not one handoff. I quit the game, and hope to see this issue addressed in a Patch.

Being a Bengals fan, this isn't far from realistic most games for them. Lol
In all honesty though hopefully it is fixed for other teams. Still should be a little more balanced.
