I agree with this..I just don't understand why they have the different "play styles" if they don't play as expected. Simulation style DOES NOT play like simulation football...Comment

Re: Patch this morning.
There are effectively 3 teams; Madden, NCAA, and Central Gameplay. Gameplay works on gameplay for both games. Each game works on its own career modes, front end, 2d art, and *UT features, etc. but they share a gameplay team. I'm sorry if you don't believe me, but thems the facts. There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.
The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

There's a new 2.90GB update downloading on Xbox now. Any details?

Not yet. If it's a significant update we'll probably get notes later in the day.Comment

Super early impression based on jumping straight to Dallas' week 2 matchup with the Saints in slow supersim - they don't seem to be motioning Kamara out of the backfield (thus negating any possibility of it being a run play) like they constantly did before this update. Still throwing a lot especially on first down. But I've also seen some I formation in short yardage that I've never seen from them in '25. Dallas is running a lot (to their detriment because zeke is washed) but I didn't really have too many issues with their ratio before.
Saints are also getting a big lead in this game (not unlike the real life matchup) so it'll be interesting to see if it mixes in more runs later.
Not sure if it's playbook updates or AI changes (or both), but not seeing that motion anymore is telling me something's different, even on small sample size.
Edit: Okay, now they're doing the motion again late in the 1st half. Pump the brakes. Seeing them in I formation was still definitely a first, though.Last edited by bcruise; 10-16-2024, 10:10 AM.Comment
