I'm not saying the run to pass ratio is fixed by patch. I use the two controller assign playbooks method.

What I'm referring to is there seem to he less explosive plays. In passing and running. RBs in the 3 games I've watched are closer to 4.0 yards per carry. Two days ago there was explosive run after explosive run.
    Cool, thanks

Hopefully this tightens up defense. I've been pretty good on defense in years past but I've struggled this year and I'm not sure how much is on me and how much is on coverages and plays not working properly. I eliminated some zone coverages I normally would have used because I heard certain coverages were basically broken. Maybe now I can confidently select defensive plays without any concerns of getting beat as a result of broken plays.

        Agreed. It’s totally different now.

Do the patches also apply to offline franchises that have already been started?

Yes they do. If they did not they would say it in the patch notes.

Ever since the latest update my formation subs are out of wack. I have Vita vea and another DT as my two down lineman in nickel 2-4, but in game, vita vea is not in and Greg Gaines is in his spot. GG isn’t anywhere in my formation subs, nor is he a he RDT in my depth chart. And on a few first downs it had a lineman as my RB for one play and then it corrected itself.

A little off topic, but since we are talking about the patch making the game better I would like to point out how dead the Madden forums are on here compared to years past. While the CFB forum is absolutely jumping. That should tell EA Tiburon everything they need to know about what game offers a better experience, and what Madden can do moving forward to maybe balance the scales a bit more

Wish they would patch the media response clock w/no clock option. My old a$$ cant read and respond that fast LOL. Who cares if I take 30 sec or 2 min to answer LOL.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
                  CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

I have Madden. It has its issues. Obviously. But the product on field (minus a few issues) is the best it has been in years. Not saying much but it is better.

Is CFB that much better then Madden on the field? If so, i may make the switch.

Being Ncaa came out with their first game in 10 years the hype is real and most likely will be that case for awhile. As someone who has played both games I can assure you there's pros and cons to both games. The recruiting aspect in ncaa is really fun and I think tops everything between both games. You will still have your die hard Madden fans that will still play this game, I myself am one. However, I think for awhile the Madden community is not as active compared to ncaa at the moment.
