Re: CWSapp757 Madden 19 Fictional Draft Classes (Prospects Needed)
I'm not even going to lie..... I haven't played Madden for a minute mainly because there were no custom draft class options. VT hit me up the other day though and let me know that it is now an option. Because creation of a player takes a LOT less work in Madden than it does in NBA2k, creation of draft classes should be a less tedious process here than it would be in 2k. Because of that I think I want to make some classes for Madden with some simplistic stories to go along with them similar to our 2k Fictional Classes (high school recruiting rankings, college stats and all that good stuff). It might turn out to be awesome or it might suck. I figure it can't hurt to try though right?
If you are interested in seeing your own player show up in the draft please leave your info here over the next couple of months using this template:
Name:
Height:
Weight:
Position:
Playstyle:
College:
Year player left college: (Junior, Senior. Staying away from red shirts to make things easier for what I plan on doing).
Also please avoid using real college players as I am sure other draft class makers will make great real classes.

Re: CWSapp757 Madden 19 Fictional Draft Classes (Prospects Needed)
I have had a few people ask me questions about the fictional draft classes that me and and Raiderz are doing so I wanted to take the time to answer some questions and go more in depth about what you can expect. Hopefully this will not only clear some things up but hopefully build some excitement for what we are doing.
So after some intense planning me and Raiderz have decided that we are going to go all in with this. For those of you that play 2k you may know me for the in depth classes that me and dreece (and the rest of the SimWorld crew) put together. We want these classes to be very similar to that. Here are the answers to some questiona I have been asked and questions that I know will be asked.
Question: How many classes will you guys be doing?
Answer: A lot of that will be based on how many the game allows us to upload. If it is very limited (looking at you 2k) we may rely on you guys to help us with uploading classes so we can max it out. At minimum, 15 classes but depending on how things go and the demand that comes along with it, I think 30 will be the max.
Question: How many players will be edited in each class?
Answer: Initially we were planning on a little more than 200 per class but after some analysis, we are looking at 300 plus.
Question: Will there be busts?
Answer: Anyone that knows how we do things know that busts are a huge part of what we do with our classes and the one thing that Madden does really well is allow for busts in the draft classes. The fact that you can slot where a player is projected is huge and will allow (like real life) for 1st rounders to come in as major disappointments and late round gems.
Question: How realistic will these be?
Answer: Me and Raiderz are big football fans so a lot of research is being done to make sure these are as realistic as possible. There will be a wide variety of different play styles at each position. Mobile QBs and Elite pocket passers. Speed backs and power backs. Coverage safeties and safeties that will disrupt the run game. It will all be there.
Question: Will you guys provide scouting reports like you do in 2k?
Answer: What I think makes our classes so unique in 2k is that there is a story and statistics that go along with each class. Before each draft is released there will be a wide array of info produced and released to you guys to give life to the players that are drafted. We produce an entire college football season that will give you a top 25, college football playoff results, top 20 stats for rushers, passers, receivers, sacks, interceptions and tackles, awards for each season, 1st and 2nd team all americans and a 7 round mock draft. Also a top 150 high school player list will be given that will prepare you for the next season/draft class. That actually brings me to the next question.
Question: So will each draft class be a stand alone class or will they be connected like you guys do in 2k.
Answer: The classes that we will produce will go in order. That means that stats for one year will include players that won't be draft eligible until future classes. The beauty of that is that you can literally follow a player from a senior in high school until he is draft eligible three years later. As I stated before, to lower confusion I decided to leave out red shirt so only junior and senior players will be eligible for that current draft. Everything that you see in real life will come in to play when we produce the post season mock draft. An injury may cause a players stock to drop. An "out of no where" statistical season could cause a player to skyrocket to the top. A players speed can cause a nobody to show up out of no where. These are all things that you can take into consideration when you prep for the draft.
I hope that answers any of the questions that you guys had but if not feel free to ask and me and raiderz will do our best to answer it here. It's going to be a big year and if things go well we can make this a yearly thing.
