Possibly not slider related, but playing a the Giants v Titans, and Derrick Henry just ran for 318 yeards and 3 TD's. Man was just unstoppable.

I held the Titans to 21 pts by stacking the box.

Currently up 20-0 after the first half vs the Cowboys and I feel like restarting. Dak has thrown for 3 interceptions. Its also way too easy to run the ball out of shotgun as the Giants. Between the constant restarts to dictate “fairness” and having to edit my own players to loosely bandaid a very broken passing system, the game is just not that fun in its current state in my opinion.

This year’s Madden is wildly frustrating and at this point I’m debating on shelfing it and going all in on NCAA Revamped.

I'm totally with you. I feel like I plug one hole with a slider adjustment, but then open up 3 more problems. There is so much to love about this game, yet so much to utterly hate.

Want some irony? Remember the "rewind" (or whatever they called it) feature from YEARS ago that would let you redo a play immediately after it was done? That would fix all these issues. Get a cheap pick on the CPU? Just "rewind" it back a play and let the CPU try again.



Oh well.

It can be done with online franchises. As long as you exit the game before the play ends, when you load back into the game it will reset as if the play never happened.

If the sliders aren't able to fix the pick-6 problem, do you think this is something that a roster update (i.e., one that revises DB and WR ratings) coupled with the sliders could help to address?

For example, if most CBs were nerfed to an extent (making a more marked difference between elite and average CBs), would that allow the slider adjustments you use to be more effective?

Kinda but it still is an issue due to AI behavior. That is coding. That is an EA issue.

My CPU defensive teammates jump curl routes like Deion Sanders no matter their ratings…..the interception slider is almost worthless this cycle.

Elite CPU QB’s are making horrible decisions with the football too often. I can buy once in a while. No one is perfect….but not at the rate they do. Also the momentum meter is highly flawed and OP.

So there are a lot of things at work here.

Dolphins Year 2 will come to a close this evening.

AFC Title is in Miami as we are the #3 seed and managed to beat Buffalo at home in the Wildcard Weekend game and we destroyed them!!

Bengals came to town and we took care of them as well. Rookie sensation WB Adam Butler threw 5 TD’s and out dueled Joe Burrow.

The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are next!!!

Hey armor. I’m sure this has been talked about, so forgive me for not wanting to read through this massive thread.

With injuries at 35 are you seeing ANY in game injuries other than lineman? I have played probably 30-40 games and have yet to see any injuries other than offensive and defensive line. Mine is at default 25. Curious if 35 helped any.

Well think about this…..the injury ratings for some of these OL/DL/LB are in the same exact range as skill position players.

That tells me it is coded.

You can try lowering skill position ratings and see what happens.
