CPU vs CPU

If you use the user vs CPU settings you'll be putting your team at a huge disadvantage because of the way the sliders are setup.

With what they’ve done to the custom playbooks and game planning aspect of the game, there’s not much depth. You can’t even set up a game plan now by using situational football. All you’re allowed to do now is match personnel with a dozen plays randomly.

Anyway, the biggest downfall of coach mode is the non scrambling QB. Was curious if I could use the cpu vs cpu sliders and manually scramble if it was obvious the QB needs to move. Just scrambling for ideas. EA killed my passion by removing the situational game planning this year on defense.

In cpu vs cpu after the last update there is no doubt after a good bit of play time that we are seeing more penalties and more variation.

Also playing with and without HFA on after the patch I do think it’s now working as intended, and not out of control.

It’s to early to say for sure, but it maybe helping to hold the scoring down some.

I haven't had a chance to play much at all since the patch dropped.

Only got in a few games for User vs CPU games.

Will do. It’s still early, but I’m planning on getting some good time in here just shortly. I will be keeping an eye on the HFA, and bring back some results.

Penalties…MAJOR difference in quantity and types since the patch. Positive now that it’s not placebo!! I’m on series x.

It’s becoming more and more evident to me, that HFA is just fine.

Player morale once you hit mid to late season plays a much bigger part of a teams performance than HFA being over powered.

If your players morale is up, and wins are clicking off each week, then chances are you will play much better than the team across from you that’s morale is heading south. I love this part of it. It makes sense. When over the last few years Madden hasn’t made to much sense to me.

I’m keeping it on, and will continue to watch it. I want to pay close attention to it at the start of my next season. Week 1-4 will tell us a lot.

Running the ball is still to easy. Some drives I don't even have to pass the ball on some drives. Have human run. Block on 0 and cpu defense all on 100

Unfortunately run blocking in madden is way too overpowered on all levels .

I'll tinker a little bit more with the ball handling slider this weekend as I believe it can actually go lower especially if you set coaching to conservative for running backs.

It's funny you mentioned that because he played Wednesday and they won their game 44-8.

But Unfortunately for him, he got his a$$ lit up on a kick return and had to sit out a few possessions before going back in the game.

Afterwards he told me he's no longer going to play returner he's just strictly staying at Corner now lmao. It'll save him a little wear and tear since he plays for the school basketball team in a few months.

This is off topic but If any of you guys are fans of basketball good gracious 2k24 is absolutely stunning.

I played 1 or 2 games out of the box on pro level and the way their game plays compared to madden is like night and day.

Teams have different styles of play and that new proplay or whatever the hell they call it is phenomenal

I wish EA used that **** in madden at least for the xfactors.

And I'm not even going to get started on the era/classic rosters.

Madden has some terrific new animations but man 2k trumps that to.....

I feel if EA had passionate guys working on madden that love the game and it's history like 2k guys do this series would be top notch. You can tell 2k guys watch a lot of nba ball and they pay tribute to legends

Lmao!!! Dude my son played FB and OLB for his high school. He had tweaked his hamstring at a wed practice. Decided to give it a go on Friday just wrapping it up.

Long story short…he couldn’t move out of his own shadow by late second qtr. South Point had a HB the size of a house!!! The back came around the corner and Dylan’s hammy finally gave and dude folded D up like a damn lawn chair!!!

While I’m thinking about it. Carlos Watkins was about 3 years ahead of Dylan. Went to the same high school. When he was at Clemson he would come home sometimes and go play pick up basketball with D and some other guys.

Carlos has never played up to his potential. The car wreck he was in while at Clemson done something to him.

He is a great kid though…was anyway. His family is great people too!!
