Great news! This is definitely something I wanted to hear and the DLC would only add to the fun experience with 09! So, at least 21 days from now, it's a full go!

aholbert, slightly offtopic here, but what was your workaround for the fatigue? You mentioned earlier that you had a workaround for that as well as robo qb.

Sounds good to me. I think after that patch and the cpu sliders is good enough unless some big eye opening things pop up but I would be happy if this was the last patch because I'm happy with the game and this new patch will just make other things much better.

          I'm really hoping it's 3 weeks max.

Then when the regular season starts I can get my franchise going.

Is it at all possible to give us a unified user stats section instead of having to go through the rings in order to see partial user stats? This is such a simple thing and I can't understand how the devs just completely overlooked this. I'm sure some folks like the rings stuff...But I would prefer to have a way to see my stats like win-loss, yds per game passing and rushing...efficiency and the like...It isn't even like there is a '6th' level or 'level 0' where the stats are unified on one screen, and that kind of baffles me. Why not do something simple to give people like me who love to see stats, and could care less about the rings, and who really can't stand having to go to each ring and add up the wins and losses just to see my overall record.

this is being addressed via cpu sliders. Now the only thing is hoping that Sony/MS approve the DLC.

CPU quick-snap: A very common complaint on the forums was the speed at which the CPU snapped the ball. We added a random length of time (no less than 5 seconds) for the CPU to wait and even make pre-play adjustments.

These things here, along with hopefully the inclusion of accelerated clock, have me so excited, as they were my biggest gripes with the game.

first i would like to say thanks for doing anything i know you dont have to. But there is a couple of issues that are making me disslike the game. 1 is the cpu pass rush it sickens me on replays when I see DE,DT run around or right in front of my OL untouched while they just stand there with hands up while Im getting sacked that has to be a glitch. and if they do try and block I see De,Dt do that rediculous swim move that is unrealistic to reach the QB in 1 & 1/2 seconds. I cant beleive no one else has mentioned this issue. 2 the play of the CB's and safties the unrealistic things Ive seen are almost comical turning in mid air on dime to tacle players after leaping to swat the ball in a different direction. if you jump and miss and the player catches the ball you will not tackle him you will fall or stumble in the direction you jumped. one last thing same subject the eyes in the back of their heads. I seen the correct animations in the game to justify seeing the ball just make players look for it. and everone cant be in on every play I promish you the game will much more realistic remember your slogan "if its in the game",not the other way around.

It's a shame fatigue could not be addressed.

Well, despite the negative tone many are trying to inject in this thread (which seems to be the standard in the Madden forums) I see nothing but positives. The majority of the major issues have been addressed and the others have been acknowledged and are either being researched or planned for DLC. I know there will always be things people find wrong, but I really don't see anything but positives from this. Yes, they should have released the game without these issues. Yes, there are still things that will hold Madden back from being great. I just don't see the point in griping about "woulda, coulda, shouldas." What's done is done. EA has their money and doesn't really have to do anything, yet the developers have done quite a bit of work in these past two weeks...and still seem to be angling to make the game better. If nothing else, an effort that I can't recall ever being shown from a Madden development team is clearly there now. Good work, IMO!
