Exactly. People put too much time, effort, and thought into other people playing these early copies of games. Some cats on here act like they are dissecting crime scene footage.

I don't think that's a fair statement....some gamers are just more discerning than others, look for different things, and see different things as problematic. And ALL we really have to go on is these snippets that are put out, unless we want to just blindly believe what is spoon fed to us by Tiburon (which we've learned is not a good option).

I think it's fair. Some of the comments I've seen when videos come out are just krazy. Some things people notice you would have to watch the video a krazy number of times and some cats have even admitted to slowing the video down and pausing it to catch certain things. IMO that's way to much effort to put into a short video of an unfinished game. I'm not just talking about Madden either.

On the other hand some guys see what they want to see and jump to the negativity. Perfect example is with cats talking about the db missing Mcnabb. It was obviously user controlled and that was the 1st thing people mentioned. Some people already have their mind made up, they just want confirmation. Just doesn't make sense to me.

actually, in the case of this video, I think its a pretty fair assessment and even the IGN video.

This video has maybe a minutes worth of gameplay footage and two of the "scenes" are the exact same play.

In regards to the IGN video, not all the features were working(Pro-Tak) so its hard to make a fair judgment on that video. Now we could argue til the cows come home as to why that video was shown knowing that its lacking probably the most important gameplay feature addition, but thats a separate argument.

This is true.With E3 this week I hope we can see so longer videos maybe that will calm it down around here lol.I'm sure they will bring their best for E3.

I wish that were true, but by the looks of things this year, with more videos it will only get worse around here.

As long as they have an option to turn the red circle off then I'm fine with it. If they don't then I will be pissed & I'm sure a lot of other hardcore Madden gamers like myself will be too! I can understand using it for Rookie level but not All Madden.

Yea me too. I feel you trying to put a positive spin on it, but I've been here long enough to know how things go, lol. Especially nowadays with OS being more popular than ever.

As time goes on it will get worse because people will realize anything they have to complain about will not be fixed.

As for our nickname, I'm sorry you feel that way. The blame for that lies with John R. Bender, who came to UH in the 20's when it was still a junior college. He established the school's first football team and named them the Cougars. He did this because that was the mascot of the school that gave him his first head coaching gig.

What school was that, you ask?

Washington State (1906-07, 1912-14)

I kind of like what FIFA 09 did to show where a ball was going to land. They just put a small x. Not a humongous bright red circle haha.
