Online Franchise is cool and all, but is that all the info we're getting from the E3 conference? I thought a lot of the details would be released then, with Ian, Donny et al, talking about it, not some 35 second video.

To the guys that want more info about Madden,
Its the very first day of E3. Ian and the rest of the crew have not show cased the demo. When they have done that, the info well come cascading to you. Be patient. E3 is week long.

these press conferences just give snippets of the games. When you actually go to the Madden booth there will be lots of Info. I am sure IGN will post a Full Madden game by the end of the week

Thanks Ea this is really great to hear. I have been waiting for this a long time, and its great to know that its finally coming.

Now I can just grab solid ballers and allow the CPU to control the vacant teams. No more dead beat coaches. This is awesome.

I'm glad I have a laptop...mess around with the deets on here then go right into a game. That would be annoying to have to do everything from the 360. This is the beezneez.

In theory..could I do one online on my own, and get all the cool features?

I think this will work pretty well with like 5 or 6 guys + the computer filling the majority of the teams.

I have a question though. What if you don't have enough guys to have a full 31 team league? Can you have computer teams in the league? Otherwise if you have like 7 or 8 friends, it ends up just being 8 Pro Bowl teams. Can we have computer controlled teams in the league?
