    Re: Offline Franchise Q&A Blog

Josh here is the one question i have seen meny people want awnsered actully 2 of them if you could be kind enough to end this question once and for all

my main question along with a bunch of others regarding the Pro Bowl in franchise mode

#1 Will the players finally wear there team helmets in the pro bowl instead of the standered AFC and NFC Helmets?

this is a very importent one as i like playing the pro bowl i did it all the time on the ps2 which still has this option but since nex gen i have not touched the pro bowl due to the helmets as its too hard to see which players from your team are in the pro bowl

#2 is there Dynantic lighting where a game turns fro day to night as you play and does the weather change as well

#3 is there a pre game half time and post game show after your franchise games to go along with the weekly show and do you actully see Fran Charles and his other host during the pre game post game and weekly shows or will we only hear there voices?

#4 do the retractable roof stadims actully work this year?

#5 is the every 4 week progression back in?

#6 are the playable hall of famers back again this year if so are any of the 2009 class in it like my man Derrick Thomas it would be cool to use him in franchise mode again?

#7 Are Pratice Sqauds in? this year?

#8 is there any new offseason features in madden like some of the ones from the old gen days like the College all star game coaches retire retired players becoming coaches contract extensions during season as well as offseason
RFA UFA NFL Icons News Papers Retractable roo0f options for building new stadiums are meny of the old franchise stuff finally back in madden ?
thanks Josh hope you can awnser most of these have a great weekend!

Would it be possible for us to see a list of all the coaches in the game in franchise mode?

I understand this is very wishful thinking.

Lol, I have yet to see a question in this thread I couldn't answer. You want I should write your blog, Josh?

PS: I take that back, I do see a couple, mostly related to position changes.

I think a good compromise would be if you had permission to answer any questions Josh overlooked. That would be sweet.
          Madden 11' Franchise should be

Madden '10 "foundation" + depth of Head Coach 09 = my dream franchise mode.

hehe, I was kidding. Josh can get into the reasons for things, explain things so that anything missing will be understood. I don't know why certain things were left out, necessarily. I can give you factual information on how it works.

i feel most of the questions have been answered through interviews and stuff...besides im tired of reading the same questions. i think the first page has all the main questions...

..my question is can the cpu offer trades or put more players on the trading block. say the vikings have adrian peterson and they get some established veteran and a very promising future RB, will they put the vet up on the block to get help at another position or gain a draft pick or just free up cap...

Can we leave one franchise and take over another?? (i.e. be fired, quit, etc.)

                        Biggest ? IAO^^^

*Do you foresee in the future players having personalities ( like nba 2k8) where it would make the user make some tough decisions on what player to take?

quick example, picking 28th, as the colts, and you feel good with your 1 & 2 wr's, but want to add a 3rd, and the best wr prospect has a "disruptive" personality, who might get mad if he doesn't get enough touches, so you would have to pass. This could be used on each position, but with obvious different circumstances.. players who are unhappy have rating decreases, a happy team has a better progression

                        * Will scouting reports be accurate? IE, second round safety with "4.29" speed comes in at 82?

                        * During the draft 8 years into franchise, say you're picking 5th, and you really want a stud running back, and the first two teams take a qb, and the third and fourth teams, say the third team to draft just picked a running back 2nd overall last year, and the fourth team to draft has two very young 87+ running backs, barring a trade, do we feel safe our guy makes it to 5?

                        thanks in advance

Will draft day be presented differently this year? Maybe get the Extra Point Show to throw in a little evaluation here and there.

How detailed is stadium editor? I've heard rumors that you can place statues of players and retired numbers up, but I haven't heard anything to back that up.

Will the Extra Point show be accessible in the off season?
                          NFL: Steelers
                          MLB: Yankees

^ Had some good questions. I second this.

Especially the questions about contract structures, incentives and FA bidding. Particularly:
