      If you say, so.

      It's all subjective.

Jauron 1 Pro Bowl in 8 seasons and his career cut short because of a knee injury.

      Good player.

I guess this is the sad reality.

However, from a business side, is it better to be honest and say "look guys, we just couldn't get that in" or is it better to keep stringing us along?

I think I would respect the former a bit more. I swear we have been asking about the IR rules in Madden 10 since the day Madden 09 came out. I appreciate the interactivity, but I really would like to know if I am wasting my time reading this forum every day.

Its funny...you whine about people "whining". Pretty hypocritical, huh?

Ive given EA and Madden alot of credit over the past few months, but you still cant even make a critical comment without being blasted on here. The blind fanboys on this site crack me up.

We have been asking for more info on franchise for awhile now. The only thing this blog really did was go into more detail about what they said they were going to fix in the first blog.

NOTHING new came out of this blog really. Some decent info, but nothing new.

This year was to clean it up and they did that so i wasn't expecting tons of new stuff. Like he said would you rather have them add new stuff ontop of the old problems or go back and fix the old problems then only have to worry about to New features.

If you can't see Peyton Manning being a coach one day than I've got some beachfront property in Arizona to sell you.

No chance he becomes a coach. Why would a man that has made over $200-300 million go into coaching?

Superstars of today have no need to do anything after playing.

Obviously pure speculation, but HC '09 had 39 players who could potentially become coaches in a 15-year career mode and none seemed like much of a stretch to me. Among those were non-superstars who would make quite a bit of sense including Charlie Batch, Bobby Engram, and Hollis Thomas. There was a good balance of guys: smart vets like the above group, pro bowlers who I could see as coaches like Jeremiah Trotter or Jeff Saturday, and a few HOF-caliber guys like Ray Lewis and Michael Strahan. While most coaches are guys who never played in the NFL, there is still a balance of players who had a wide variety of career experiences that have made their mark in the league as position coaches or higher: in recent decades, we've seen guys ranging from backups like Jason Garrett, Gary Kubiak and Tony Dungy to HOF-caliber guys like Fred Biletnikoff, James Lofton and Mike Singletary. If Madden can come closer to HC, than I think it'll be reasonable on this front.

I give EA a ton of credit for the improvements the have made to franchise....but it doesnt mean its going to be where it needs to be. Franchise mode IMO is what gives the game so much replayability. Based on what I know along with what else I see wrong with the game, I just dont think its worth 60 bones.

Exactly why I'm disappointed. Clearly anything that wasn't talked about got little to no attention, and he didn't want to have any "No" answers. Which makes no sense, because in the Online blog there WERE some answers that basically said "no"
                            Madden 11' Franchise should be

Madden '10 "foundation" + depth of Head Coach 09 = my dream franchise mode.

Maybe because he loves the game and is very much a student of it. He might even coach a college team, say if that whole Kiffin thing doesn't work out at UT.

Why would a coach who has already made millions and won championships want to come back?

Alot of these top players probably COULD be coaches, but most of them dont. It happens, but if its like past Maddens, these players become coaches a few years later.

Is it a huge deal? No, I just brought it up because I dont think it is realistic.
