I'm all for the QB Vision, or as I refer to it, the Light! It needs to make a come back! The one's that could not play with it weren't very good anyway. At the least, it should be an option for us to have and turn off offline & online.

Re: QB vision:
I really liked this feature, but with the new graphics, a cone would be an eyesore and I understand that. However I would like a double tap system. It could be required for ranked games or just optional for offline. I wouldn't really care, I just want it in the game.
It would be very simple, require no real learning curve, make the orange primary receiver route mean something, and could make it so the QB would turn his head to look in specific directions.
It also leaves the right stick open too. The only negative is that you couldn't have your QB looking at a spot on the field, and that's not really a huge problem.Comment

Re: QB vision:
LOL!
QB vision only forced you to hold the trigger & double tap the pass button. It wasn't difficult. I doubt many of the folks that hated it, hated it because they weren't good at it. It was ugly.
I've suggested this numerous times, but how about a vision system, minus the flashlight? Same thing except that, instead of the light beam, you just see the QB's head/shoulders move. And only the WRs in the QB's line of sight get an active icon. Elite QBs have to scan 2 halves, 2nd tier QBs have to scan 3rds & the worst QBs have to scan 4 sections of the field.
Boom! Sim & aesthetically pleasing.Comment

Re: QB vision:
It occurs to me that this could actually be a decent use of the PS3's motion sensor to direct your QB's field of vision. Agree that you shouldn't be able to throw to receivers not in your field of vision. The thing is, IRL, a QB nearly instantly snaps his eyes in the proper direction based on what he reads and then starts his progressions. Vision required you to read the defense, find your progressions, press the correct combination of buttons to advance the progression, make the decision whether or not to throw, and then either throw or make the decision to advance the progression again and find the proper button combination to do so.
It needs to be a system that rewards the player for identifying the correct coverage and going through the correct progressions, with more aware QBs having more complex progressions with more on-the-fly route options. I don't want it to be a system that prevents a player who makes the correct decisions from having success because the game mechanics slow down his throught process.Comment
