Is there any chance that EA could patch/roster update the uniforms in game to correct some of these egregious errors for the current sets? I love throwbacks but I feel that no one at EA/Tiburon really care about us nit picking throwbacks. However the 49ers poo brown helmet on their new set is just ridiculous. As a die hard SF 49ers fan I have not been able to play a franchise with the Niners since Madden 07 since they have messed up the unis so hard the last few years. Now they get a new set and it looks nothing like what I have seen on the field in the first preseason game or at practice.
The bottom line is I want to get this fixed this year and not have to wait until Madden 11. I know the dev team is hard at work on the patch and of course gameplay fixes are the highest priority. But I have a feeling that a small fix like this could be done if the right amount of polite prodding is done. I am not going to start a petition or letter writing campaign per se but I do plan on contacting EA/Tiburon and the 49ers office and let them know of my concern and see if they or the league could possibly get involved. I know some people will say that is overboard and to just get over it but honestly it really does ruin my experience with a game I am really enjoying.
I just want to make sure that I am going about this in the right way and I do not want to offend anyone. I just know that the devs are listening and when we bring our complaints to them in a constructive manner then we have a chance at affecting change. I would suggest that anyone who feels the same way to politely contact EA/Tiburon and the NFL to see if there is anything that can be done.

The Jets are missing their white Titans uniform which is suppose to debut this season.
The even better news is that in two of those three games, the uniforms will be a new color scheme: Titans white road jerseys with navy letters and numbers and navy and gold striping to go along with the gold pants from the past two seasons.
The only time the Jets will wear their navy jerseys will be Game 3 at the Meadowlands vs. the Tennessee Titans. We hear the Titans will be going with the powder-blue uniforms of their Houston Oilers ancestors, so that game will really capture the 50th Anniversary theme: (New York) Titans vs. (Houston) Oilers.
Then the white jerseys, never before worn by the Jets, will be unveiled in back-to-back games, also against AFL opponents from the Sixties. On Oct. 26 the Jets will wear the white and gold at Oakland against the Raiders. The next week, they'll stay in the white jerseys to play the Miami Dolphins at the Meadowlands.Comment

Heck yeah, they sold the dang unis a few years back as DLC. Aren't the AFL unis supposed to be DLC (better yet, weren't they supposed to be in)? They best be free.
My prediction...no uniform fixes this season. AFL downloads around Thanksgiving or just in next year when they won't be worn again.
Without searching through 11 pages, did someone say the 60's Packers has a green mask? That's what it looks like in preview instead of gray.Comment

bumping it up again....
The Lions 1950's thanksgiving throwbacks have white pants and white numbers instead of silver, and the player names have a black outline that shouldn't be there. At least the black jersey looks accurate to me, and I think it looks better with the new uniform than it did with the old one. Of course it's not supposed to exist any more, but the more options we have, the better.Comment

The Bucs throwbacks have a red facemask instead of orange.
As mentioned with the throwback Falcons with the current font, but that's not the throwback they will wear this year. They will wear the helmet they have, but black shirts with falcons on the sleeve that are very similar to their 90's throwbacks in the game.Comment

Actually the Falcons throwbacks this year have a different helmet too. The one they're wearing has extra gold trim on the helmet stripes. Can't blame EA for the Falcons waiting this long to unveil it though. 70's helmet + 90's jersey + 70's pants = really close.Comment

Anyone notice the Giants Home jersey is different on the jersey select screen then it is on the filed? It's correct on the filed from what I can see, but on the select jersey screen, there is a red outline around the numbers that doesn't belong.Comment

No. Just the Jets home "Titans" that I saw because that has been there for a while as well as the Bills home AFL. AFL unis, like stadium chants, were blogged by EA for a while and they didn't show up. Teams like the Titans "Oilers" jerseys are labeled as the 60's, but are obviously the 90's with the white helmet, red mask.
It's funny that there will be a team playing as the Texans and Titans, but there are modern day Texans and Titans.Comment
