Madden 2001, first madden on ps2. I traded the broncos for Olandis Gary and tore it up with him. All madden default sliders. And people cried alot it was impossible to run on that game.

Natrone Means in one of the earlier games when he was on the Chargers. I don't know if it was a glitch or what, but the dude would break like 9/10 tackles. If interested, check out my RPG style San Fransisco 49ers Franchise videos on my Youtube page!

Last year I didn't have a favorite, but I used Chris Ivory and Jonathan Stewart a lot in my franchise mode. Some of my favorite guys from past Maddens:
Natrone Means
Warrick Dunn
Mike Alstott
Garrison Hearst
Larry Centers
Fred Taylor
Jamal LewisComment

Re: what was your favorite running back to use in the history of madden?
PS1 - Terrell Davis
PS2 - I'd say Michael Vick. I just called shotgun and then scramble as a "run play". But as a legit RB maybe LT? I would just spin away from everything.
Madden 13 - I'm digging Walter Payton in mut, but other than that I like Ray Rice
EDIT: As a Raiders fan I hate my age. I think I played with them 1 year (Rich Gannon MVP season) since 98 while my friend tore me up with his Mcnabb/Westbrook Eagles...Last edited by Itsfuntobethespurs; 12-02-2012, 08:01 PM."When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Re: what was your favorite running back to use in the history of madden?
Candidate was great in Madden. I always picked up TE Teyo Johnson and he became a beast. The other hb i remember from early Maddens was a running back on the Broncos, i don't remember his name though. He was not Terrell Davis, Mike Bell or Reuben Droughens but it was around the same time as then. He was a back up. I think 3rd string but he had speed and was able to become a 90 plus in three seasons. Oh i miss the progression from the 08 and earlier games on the ps2.

Re: what was your favorite running back to use in the history of madden?
Darren McFadden. I never use teams that have a real beast running back like AP OR LT or Barry Sanders. But I picked up Run DMC as a free agent in Madden 25 and he's amazing. He breaks tackles, is a great receiver and has ridiculous speed. He could never play a full season cuz he always got injured, but he was great when he was healthy. If he weren't so injury prone, he would be one of the best backs in the league.Comment
