Looking for some help in franchise mode. If you select all teams to control their moves, do you have to do the scouting and drafting for them also? I basically want to control the Bucs only, but be able to "correct" any weird issues that pop up like the Colts cutting Manning or something like that.

Can anyone (non-partisan) inform me on the quality of the game on PS3?

I recall statements that PS3 games were infamously "ported," and therefore graphically inferior, I guess.

Also, I know online is free, but are there any other consideration I should be aware (I'm under the impression that there are less members, still is it hard to get a game in? Lag, etc?)

I'd appreciate if anyone could take a few moments to lend some insight. Thank you.

I've owned both 360 and PS3 versions this year. They look pretty much the same but if you install the 360 game to the HD then I thought that it was noticeably smoother and had much quicker load times.

Also its worth knowing that replays in the PS3 version are often cut off at the beginning. If you have a choice then I would go with the 360 version but if you only have a PS3 its still worth getting the game.

I think you can create plays in the PSP version and import them into the PS3 game? I'm not entirely sure.

Hey everyone, Happy New Year and I am looking for all the teams and player ratings for Madden 11. If there is anywhere besides the espn page where I can find them as they are today,I would greatly appreciate it.I don not own Madden 11 at this time but i wnted to make some rosters for some older gms of Madden and was looking for a site or spreadsheet that has the players ratings. Why is it that when I choose "normal" presentation, the game takes me into "Holidays" mode anyway? I did not play this game last October because it's bad enough seeing those pink shoes on the field, now I'm being forced to see them in the game too?

How is it that this year the entire play doesn't fit into the instant replay?

Why is it that my old rosters get autoloaded every time I start the game, it goes right to the September roster, not the Week 16. How do you know which one loads by default?

Random question, regarding overtime:

So given that there's a commentary line about the new overtime rules, I assume they are in the game. My question is, do they affect EVERY game played (specifically regular-season games in franchise mode, where the new rules regarding first-possession field goals are NOT supposed to be in effect)? I've had two overtime games now in my franchise, both times I got the first possession, and both times Gameflow wanted me to kick a field goal as soon as I got into field goal range. I audibled out of it both times because I didn't want to risk NOT ending the game.

Dude, that's actually a really good question. I do the same thing placing OLBs at DE in certain formations, moving DEs to DT, etc. But I have no idea whether or not that affects progression. I'd assume that progression is basically performance based, and that a player improves or declines over time based on their in-game performance regardless of position. E.g. if your 4th CB plays a significant amount of snaps at FS, his overall rating goes up, regardless of whether or not he actually became a better CB or not.

Question on PS3 Online Interface - Please Help

When I am in the Madden Lobbies and someone sends me a message for a game invite, how do I toggle to my messages to see the invite and accept it while staying in the lobby? The only way I am able to see my messages is through the X-bar screen outside of the actual game?
