    Couldn't agree more.

Also like was said in Previous post, I think he also gets Knocked because of the System he plays in. People would tend to argue that if he played in any other system he wouldn't be of successful. I disagree.. I disagree w/that 100%

I can't see why there would be argument about G.Jennings. He is a solid wr, and on my list his is number #8.

He has that balance of a solid underneath receiver, and that HR threat. He put up solid numbers last season.

      Definitely a solid WR.

My problem was DeSean being mentioned in the top 5 or top 10.

Super happy to see no one arguing that AJ being the beast he is.

As a Texan fan, he is about the only thing I can be proud of.

I'll just stick with my guy, Reggie Wayne. Steady, consistent, and always reliable. I'm very pleased with the ratings though, Madden got this one right as far as the top 6 go.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Ratings - Top 6 Wide Receivers

            My top 6 would be...

            1. Andre Johnson
            2. Larry Fitzgerald
            3. Calvin Johnson
            4. Roddy White
            5. Reggie Wayne
            6. Greg Jennings

Andre Johnson is definitely the best as he flat out dominated games, and he still has some of the best stats in the league despite missing games last year with injuries.

You have to remember the last time Fitzgerald had a good QB throwing him the ball in Kurt Warner and how amazing he was in the playoff run for the Cardinals (Anquan Boldin helped too). Fitzy is still a beast and even though I don't know if he'll have an amazing year since I don't know about Kolb, he deserves a very high catching, CIT, spectacular catch, jumping, and route running ratings.

Calvin Johnson's ratings should be very high also due to his athleticism and speed. When you watch him play you know he's one of the best receivers but he doesn't have that great of a QB throwing him the ball most of the time or a legitimate threat at wide receiver across from him.

Then I'd go with Roddy White after a great year with Matt Ryan last year, Reggie Wayne who is still a great route runner but declining a little bit, and Greg Jennings was fantastic in that Super bowl run for the Packers. After this 6 I'd look at players like Brandon Marshall, Santonio Holmes, Anquan Boldin, and Miles Austin.
I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.

Jennings should have been rated higher, White should be a little lower..
Other than that I am good with the top 6..

Jennings is a very underrated WR IMO.
I would rate Jennings and Calvin even at 91 each.

Who is really the bigger deep threat?
When guys are putting up 1000+ yard seasons at better than 20ypc average, it's a moot point as to who the bigger deep threat is. They are both elite deep threat receivers, just not complete packages like AJ,CJ,Fitz etc.

Really, The man averages 1,000 yards in 50 or so catches? He had the highest per catch average last season. He has proven that he can go all the way on any play. If they were to pass to DeSean 100+ times a season he would be destroying records. I mean he came in 71st in catches last season but he was tied for 12 in total receiving yards. If that's not Top 10 talent, I don't know what is.

Not to mention he can outrun any corner in the league and has superb route running....

How exactly does he have superb route running?

And what do you mean by "if they were to pass to DeSean 100+ times a season..."? They DO pass to him 100+ times per season. In 2009, he was #20 in the league in targets with 118 targets in 15 games. Last year he had 96 targets in 14 games (obviously would have been over 100 had he played all 16 games), so unless you want the Eagles to throw the ball to him like 80% of the time, he's getting the ball thrown to him about as much as possible. He just doesn't have good hands, which is obviously on him.
