Isn't it up to the "Head Coach" in real life to change a players position. If he wants a player playing CB to move to safety. The player Doesn't have much say. Dont do it or you will get cut...ala Ronde Barber

If a coach has two great MLB's running a 4-3 he would move one to the weak side or strong side...but with M13 I guess your better off trading them...

I guess you can just move the MLB to OLB in the deph chart but I like all my position to play what there positions says but that just me

M13 need position changes!!!

Nope......based on my understanding anything you do to your roster outside of CC does not transfer into CC.

@pastapadre: My bet - EA adds limited editing for M13 by launch or in a patch. We've seen this story play out every year (Strategy Pad for example).

Is pasta usually pretty good at predicting these things?

It depends on if they're willing to sacrifice broken over nothing. If they put it in and it's broken, it will probably just make people even more mad even though they were told that it's the reason it didn't make it into the game in the first place.

I hope that's not the case - really wanted to try out this edition of madden but it's hard to justify the purchase without player editing included.

All the more reason these changes are more of a blow now. Madden 14 may be the last Madden this gen, and whose to say how many of the fanbase will be able to early adopt to the nxt next gen Madden based off of this current model. How much of this current model makes it to next gen(they only mention a 3 year plan, 14 will end that cycle)? It's a major blow to the community as well as a very huge gamble and commitment. If this were 09, three years into a new console cycle it wouldn't sting so bad, but going out it baffles the mind.
