So.....is standard cam the only "working" cam for CCM? I am a coach(offline) and every time I try to switch camera it defaults to standard. What's up with that? Does EA know about this?

Yes, the standard camera it is still the only working camera in CCM(others default back to it after a play). Waiting for patch 3, and hopefully it addresses it.

ya this better be in the next patch and if it's not I'm starting to think that its never getting in this years game. They told us that they knew about it before the game came out and it has been this long and all we got is where looking into it, not really convincing imo that they even care, or just don't have the smarts to get it working right. I dunno the lame stale camera angles in the game now like standard cam takes away from so much. I never felt that I was so far away from the action from one game. The whole point of football is to be close to the action right? So why do they pan out like where siting 20 rows deep in the end zone with a beer in are hand watching the game? Last time I checked we were playing it not watching a game. Just makes no sense to me and it never will.

The only way i plan on playing Madden 13 over 12 is if they patch the zoom camera's angle too. Way to low for my taste. tried it over and over, and I need it a bit higher and tilted.

I briefly spoke/tweeted Mike Young "the Mind behind the new zoom camera view"about my dislike in the zoom cam.He basically said that he's been getting conflicting reports about the zoom cam.Trust me I did let him know that I would of not bought the game if I knew the zoom cam was broken.

Pre snap could even be "slightly" more zoomed out then my first pick, that way its not such a drastic pre/post pass difference. Somewhere around those photo's should be good. The post snap pass cam can't go to far out though or were back to a standard pass cam IMO

Those pictures aren't bad anyway. I would even take Madden 12's zoom cam if it pleased the other crowd,lol.

The 2nd pre snap photo wouldnt be such a drastic difference to the post snap pass cam in the first photo group. Just a thought.

ok well i love the angle of the pre-snap pic above it could be a little closer IMO but as far as the post snap angle and distance i think its too far away, and looks to close to the standard camera..now i gotta be honest i really disliked the "new" zoom cam at first BUT it has really grown on me and it is the only cam i use now. i believe it makes running a blast and it makes the passing game a little harder. its almost like accually being in the pocket and truly having your view obstructed by the pass rush like in real life...throwing lanes open up and you must take advantage of them... so i'm not as much gung ho for a change as i was before. i still would like to see a little more height and maybe they could give us multiple zoom cameras by keeping our current cam and adding the one you guys are pushing for..

Pitt, I agree about the post passing cam pick. I even mentioned no further then that for sure. A bit closer would be fine with me. Tbh, I don't know if Mike even looked at the post snap cam, but he did comment on the pre snap cam.

I tried to zoom out a little on post snap passing to make those happy that complain about the zoom pass cam being to close to see flats every year. I personally wouldn't mind it slightly closer liked you mention. For sure no further away.

I just can't get into the current cam. Defense is frustrating, and the angle takes away from graphics and gameplay IMO

There is no way this camera is playable...its one of those things "So close but yet so far away" from being "perfect". Mike Young almost had it perfect...but as it is now..its too low and not tilted enough to see down field enough.

Mike Young - or any developers that can talk to Mike Young ....if you guys can adjust this zoom cam like the example pic's above...raise the zoom cam up and tilt it just a tad....i swear to God this would be the best zoom cam i've ever played with. Like i said...its like right there but yet so far off..hard to explain but it definitely is not really playable right now...PLEASE PLEASE ..if you guys can fix this in a patch..it would rock my world to words unexplainable.

I just want to thank Mega,wheelman and the others for pushing this adjustment badly needed in the zoom cam.

Mike Young..you may be getting conflicting reports...but sit down and really try playing with this cam the way it is now ...then do the adjustments like the example pic's above that we are asking and you WILL SEE a night and day difference in playability, mark my words!!. Yes the cam as it is now looks NICE...but frankly..while it looks awesome..its unplayable. I said this from day one...on one of the first few pages of this thread when i had a chance to finally play the zoom cam when i got my retail build of the game. I loved it but i instantly knew it was'nt going to cut it for me and many others.

I go to a ton of gaming forums..neogaf,ign boards,giantbomb and other dedicated sports gaming forums and all i am hearing is that the zoom cam is unplayable because its too low and you cant see down field enough on passing plays...

PLEASE Mike Young...nevermind what you're hearing with these conflicting reports elsewhere....there is no way this can be debated..no way...its simply not playable right now...take it from us hardcore 30-some year old gamers that know when something is not right...its not right bro, it needs adjusting...please adjust it and i'll worship you lol...what makes it so bad is that its just such minor adjustments that will make a world of a difference, it was so frustrating for me to have to let it go and resort back to standard cam the first week i bought madden 13....but if you can still adjust this..wow, it would rock my world!!!

Like i said..the few replies above this one with the example pic's.... thats a pretty good example where the zoom cam needs to be.

1. It needs to be higher up.

2. It needs to be tilted downwards a tad to see down field to the WR's better.

Basically....like the standard cam is now..but lower and closer...but not so low where we cant see WR's...but at the same time..dont un-zoom it too far back on passing plays neither...the example pic's are a pretty spot on target in what we are asking
