Usually when I play Madden, I like it less and less the more I play it. The same old things are noticed as the time goes by. One thing I have noticed this year is the more I play it, the more I actually seam to notice it feels a bit better, and is just more enjoyable then years past.

If you asked me last Tuesday would I be buying Madden 13, I would have said no. But this zoom cam is the only thing at this point that would really hold me back from a purchase right now. I don't want to give EA more credit then they deserve, I do think they held back some features on us they could have incorporated, but I will say I do notice a difference this year in the way the game feels. Mostly noticed this on Xbox 360. For some reason the PS3 still felt loose, but it could just be the controller.

If they could fix the camera issue, and maybe patch in player editing in CCM later this year, Madden 13 would be a pretty decent football game. Not going to win any awards, but a good attempt from one year worth of development.

I'm not talking about the gameplay, I'm talking about the decisions made on how the game is developed.

I'm kinda between you and Roadman. I can see a little of both. Thats why I think they need to patch in cameras, and full player editing. For once, I want to see what I consider a complete game. Nothing left out, or missing for what seams to be no reason.

I also can tell the game does feel a bit different and better. Presentation/audio is better too. Now, I know we can say it doesnt take much to be better then 12, and I agree, but in many ways this game was a nice step forward. They need to put at least this much work in the next 2 years (final years) to finish well.

If you had any doubts about whether the next generation of consoles was in development, now's a good time to get rid of them.

It does raise a question, if they are only 2 years out with a next gen football title release, what are the possibilities removing features is a way to make next gen's first release not look so empty? I know thats just a "conspiracy theory", but it does hold some weight to it.

So fellows there still is hope for this being addressed in Madden.

I may be way off here but the way I understand the issue is that the guys with the game can't change the camera within CCM but what if you save the camera option to Zoomed in the front end before starting or going into a CCM? The bug sounds like camera changes within CCM don't stick so this might actually work.

I thought that since the discussion was focused on how Tiburon made a... Tiburon decision with regards to the camera, that it would be obvious in what way I meant it.

^ This! i have to have zoom cam. thats all i been playing with on '12 for a yr now. even tho the flats are cutoff and ur blind on the short sideline routes like comebacks and curls, this is a sacrifice i feel was worth it and added a little extra difficulty in the passing game. and this version for '13 is even better since u can see the flats and a lil bit wider field for short sideline routes. honestly without this cam, madden is not immersive. the players all look the same and look like mini players cuz the standard cam is too far away. zoom brings u right into the action and u can see the detail of the game.

Can someone with the game please try mercalnd's suggestion of seeing if u can save the zoom cam from the front end menu and then see if it will stick in ccm mode?

Wow, after watching these zoom videos on my Xbox 360 youtube app (HD) I can't believe how great the graphics are with the zoom cam! That snow video is amazing.

If they patch this cam in on CCM, I will be picking this up!
