The zoom cam still doesn't zoom out enough for user pre-playDefense.....When your opponents come out in a 4 or 5 wide the wrs on the edges still aren't visible..

Its crazy how this thread has turned into one big confusion festival and i am not directing this towards wheelman or any particular person...but in all the replies as a whole..its quite confusing.

Yep. I also played last night I saw when I changed the camera settings to "zoom" or "broadcast" it reverts back to the standart camera every time. This is in CCM. Huge bug, I have to say.

I guess I am just posting this to get ot off my chest but I went into an online ranked game with the camera view set to "zoomed" pregame and it was locked in for that game. I couldn't change it in the settings in-game. Now I asked about why wasn't there a custom camera option in Madden a few months back and was told it was due to online sync issues. Yet I can play with a different camera view in an online ranked game so I am not understanding.

The saddest part of all this is, that like I always suspected and suggested, a limited camera view INSTANTLY makes the the game play more realistically challenging. That said, the current zoom camera view does need some adjusting, imo, to allow for better depth perception. The best thing would be to just provide a custom camera AND a way for a Commish or Community creator to "lock in" a camera view for everyone.

I'm with you. I have switched to the standard cam, just because the zoom cam is a bit low. I like the way it looks, but as far as how it plays I'd like it up a bit and tilted like madden 10's. That was a sweet cam. The Madden 14 was fun for a while, and offered a sense of being there at times, but it was a little frustrating at times, and depending on the stadium & lighting could be extremely hard to see players

this IS the perfect angle IMO. hey man you hear any updates on them patchin the zoom cam in CCM lately??? i havent heard nothin in a couple days

Nothing yet. I'm sure it will be in the 2nd patch. The only thing is, I don't they will tweak the camera height/angle like they need to.

I went back to the standard cam. I like the zoom cam, but with the lighting and everything, some stadiums is too hard to see. Also, the cam is too buggy. I hope they tweak this zoom cam where it is playable.

I just can't get into this zoom cam like I hoped i could. I thought I liked it, but its just too low. They really need to fix this. The standard camera is too far and the zoom is so low you can't see anything.

They must not have played on this cam because if they had, they would have known it is unplayable. Do they not know some of there fan base use this cam?

im still using the zoom cam i just cant got back to the friggin stale standard view...overall i like it but agree that it could use a tweak up a hair to get it off the ground a bit...i just hope they fix it in CCM right now as i highly doubt they will alter the height of it this year

next year this thread better NOT exist..thats all i got to say..they better give us a CUSTOM CAM in 2014 ..NO MORE EXCUSES

Same here, Wheel. I gave it an honest try, but it is too low. Madden 10 was perfect, not sure why they removed/altered it.

Custom camera has to be in next year. All other sports games (including other EA games) at the very minimum let you adjust height and zoom on the default cameras, in addition to making your own.

So.....is standard cam the only "working" cam for CCM? I am a coach(offline) and every time I try to switch camera it defaults to standard. What's up with that? Does EA know about this?
